We all talk about Vijay but nobody talks abt the behaviour of his ministers particularly Aadhav. Guy talks and behaves like an rowdy that too in the house proceedings.

I mean i hv lot of issues with Dmk Aidmk but they atleast maintain decorum. Why this guy behaves like that ? I think Vijay has no control over his guys.

The Best Lies - David Ellis

I hv been reading David Ellis books back to back and I really enjoyed The Best Lies by David Ellis. It’s a slow burn, but the excellent character development and alternating POVs kept me invested throughout.

It reminded me a little of Look closer not exactly in plot, but in the way the story gradually reveals how everything is connected. The plot is clever, the pieces come together really nicely, and the ending twist genuinely surprised me. I’m usually someone who keeps trying to guess the twist as I read, but this one completely caught me off guard!

The only downside for me was the length , its 750 pages, it definitely felt a bit long in places. But overall, it was a very satisfying read, especially once everything started coming together. Definitely worth picking up if u njoy slow burn thrillers.

Idhayam murali wht a absolute crappy movie.

Saw it today on Netflix and such a shit movie in the name of genz . A hero who has no spine, moral compass and a walking red flag and such bad acting. In Idhayam Muruli wild hv enacted that character so beautifully. The only good thing in the movie was Rakshan, Dravid and Sudhakar. Cringe fest. Idhulle vera Fahaad oda torture.

I really loved Premalathas short shee today.

Shes soo articulate. Puts across a point very well with very less historics and more facts. And the way she supports Vijay and also criticises him is cute. Shes the biggest wow factor for me this time around. And she went and met the ammonia blast victims which is a commendable act. Both Dmk and tvk underplayed such a huge accident.

Keep them close - David Ellis

Absolutely loved Keep Them Close! It’s a gripping thriller that kept me hooked all the way through. The narration was fantastic, and I really liked how everything came together so cleverly. The characters felt real, and the emotions made the story even more engaging. Definitely one of those books that’s hard to put down. Highly recommend it if you enjoy a good thriller! David Ellis is my new fav writer just found out he's a sitting judge. Wow!

Composite loan

Hi all,

I hv a question regarding a composite loan and would appreciate some advice.I took a composite loan with a tenure of four years. According to the loan agreement, if construction is not completed within those four years, the loan will be treated as a commercial loan and the commercial interest rate will be applied retrospectively from the date of disbursement.

The 4year period ended in February, and no construction has taken place. However, the bank did not send me any prior intimation, reminder or revised statement. Now, in July, they have suddenly informed me that I need to pay approximately ₹8 lakh. I know its my mistake but right now I had too many issues going on that this got slipped.

My questions are as follows:

Is the bank entitled to demand the amount without any prior notice? The only reason now they r following up is coz its come out in the auditing report as a remark.

Even if the contract permits retrospective application of the commercial rate, shouldnt the bank have informed me before making such a large demand?

Is there any possibility of challenging the demand or requesting a waiver, restructuring or instalment plan?

Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

The Mistress - James Patterson and David Ellis

Overall: a good read, but it could have been much tighter.

The book starts off really well and immediately feels like an action thriller. The constant twists and the different theories surrounding the murder kept me guessing, which was definitely the strongest part of the story. That said, the middle section dragged quite a bit. I also found it hard to empathise with the victim because her character never really developed enough for me to care about what happened to her. Towards the end, the plot became a little too chaotic and started to lose its grip.

One thing I thoroughly enjoyed was all the fascinating trivia woven into the story it added a lot of flavour and kept me engaged even when the pacing slowed down.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, but I think it would have been a much crisper and more compelling read if it had been 100 pages shorter.

Fakes in amazon. Beware of seller RK world infocomm

I hv noticed this several times even though the listed brand store seller will be RK world. Lot of products are sold by this seller and are fake copies. Specially beauty products. I got this tinted sunscreen and the moment I opened it it felt off. Was too cakey unlike the previous tube I used. Lookat the picture the entire label is off. Too late to return but where can I get original products online.

Premalatha Vijaykanth is such a good addition to the legislative assembly

Love how sensible and practical her speech is and short. Hits the nail bang on. Would love to see this lady get more opportunities and make good use of it for people growth.
