The main Sandrone sub used to be a character sub. That’s it. Art, kits, lore, ships, whatever people posted.

Then Aether x Sandrone (and other straight ships) started getting deleted on sight. Mentions too. Mods pointed people to a separate sub if they “like that ship.”

Columbina x Sandrone stayed up.

That’s the whole story. Not “both sides.” One pairing involving the male MC gets removed. The yuri pairing with the same character does not.

People in the comments called it what it is: selective enforcement. If a character sub only polices one direction of shipping and calls the other one fine, it stopped being a character sub. It became a filter.

This is the same pattern every time. A space gets built around a character or a game. Then certain ships get treated as default and everything else gets labeled bait, toxic, or “not what this sub is for.” The people who liked the original mix either self-censor, get sent to a ghetto sub, or leave. After that, anyone who points it out is the problem.

If the rule is “no ships,” apply it to everyone. If the rule is “ships are allowed,” don’t delete only the ones that make a specific crowd uncomfortable. Anything in between is just favoritism with extra steps.

Don’t pretend this was random moderation. It was a choice. Remember it when the next character sub starts doing the same thing.

I gotta say, it's quite an... interesting development.

For context: after playing the AQ, a group of people start shipping Alyosha, Vodyanitsa, Odette, and Mitya together in one big polycule dynamic. I won't comment on the ship itself, but the reactions around it are quite entertaining to watch.

Apparently, the usual suspects HATE that ship. In line with the second slide, it's very much clear that the only reason they're pulling the bisexual card is to justify them shipping a canonically straight woman with another woman. Now that an actual bisexual ship takes off, they hate that too.

Well, people in this sub are aware of this. We always know that they don't actually support bisexuality, they're only using it as an excuse. Now they're attacking their own community, even calling the ship as 'hetslop'.

They don't support yuri. They simply hate men.
