Description:
NOD//Xtract is a browser-based extraction roguelike where you break into hostile networks, steal data, manage trace pressure, and try to leave before the system turns your run into a cautionary tale. You choose targets, bring tools, push deeper for better rewards, or extract early like someone with actual survival instincts (yup I'm looking at you 😂 ).

Between runs, you manage your safehouse, craft gear, buy blueprints, accept dispatches, chase weekly objectives, and sell data into a player-influenced market. There are also factions, remote ops, Understack descents, and the Black Cache Exchange, because apparently normal bad decisions were not enough.

It’s free, playable in-browser, and actively updated. Looking for more players to test balance, progression, mobile UI, and how many people ignore obvious danger signs for slightly better loot.

Quick update on a small project I’ve been building.

I added:

• world events (affecting targets/rewards)
• a shared market that reacts to player actions
• live activity + Discord webhooks

What’s interesting is players are already shaping things:

• overselling data and crashing prices
• over-farming targets and raising security
• shifting activity across nodes

The multiplayer is asynchronus and everything is shared and visible.
Trying to figure out if this actually feels “alive” or just looks cool.

This is a side project I’ve been building in small daily sessions.

The idea:

- every run is procedurally generated

- outcomes feed into a shared world

- economy reacts to player behavior

- contracts , factions and asymmetrical multiplayer

I’m mainly testing if the concept makes sense to someone seeing it for the first time.And if you like it, it will evolve with you.
