One of the reasons I love Whole Cake Island is that my favourite duo got screentime together

I love this duo and they were together a lot early on when the crew was small. So it's nice to see just the 2 of them together in Whole Cake Island. I love the fight against Cracker, Nami's role was perfect. She fits the support role quite well

Cute family

I am watching Wano and Zoro, Hiyori and Toko really seem like a family lol. I hope Zoro and Hiyori end up together, both of them are so good looking and fit perfectly.

What's your opinion on the ship teasing between the Straw Hats in the Live Action?

ZoNami, SaNami and LuVivi all 3 have good chemistry in the Live Action.

I am a LuNa shipper in the manga but I kind of enjoy the chemistry between all of these. The cast is just so attractive. I don't think any of these will be a thing but it's fun to watch.

I love the moments Straw Hats do something that's not usually in character for them just for Luffy

  1. Zoro swallows his pride and begs Mihawk to train him just so he can become stronger for Luffy.

  2. Nami insults Kaido for declaring Luffy dead when she usually doesn't act on emotions and insults opponents.

  3. Usopp getting angry in Alabasta when someone insulted Luffy's dream and acting brave.

  4. Chopper embraces being a monster just to get stronger for Luffy.

Which Big 3 showcases its main theme the best?

One Piece main theme: Freedom and dreams are worth fighting for.

Naruto main theme: Empathy and understanding can end the cycle of hatred

Bleach main theme: True acceptance of oneself is necessary to protect others.

Nami insulting Kaido when he announced Luffy's death is probably one of my favourite moments in the whole series because it goes against her personality

Nami is not the type to insult her opponent under the pure heat of emotions, that's what Luffy does. But in this scene, she was so overwhelmed my emotions that she insulted a Yonko to his face despite knowing she would die.

Honestly, I like this more than the Ulti moment. In the Ulti moment, it can be argued from a perspective that Nami would technically be "betraying" Luffy if she said he won't become PK to save her life. But this moment was unnecessary, if Nami stayed silent, she wouldn't be betraying anyone yet she did it which is why I love it.

Do you think the Straw Hats are equally close to each other or there are some who are closer than others?

I think they all are close with each other to such an extent that they would die for each other and no two Straw Hats can be left alone and feel awkward.

But still, there are some people closer to one another . Like most of them seem closer to Luffy than the others. But it makes sense given Luffy changed their lives significantly

One of the reasons I think Luffy and Nami fit as a couple is because Nami isn't the type to care about everyday affection

Nami I think values emotional comfort and trust over physical affection. If her and Luffy get married, Luffy wouldn't show romantic gestures like bringing her a rose but he will be with her and hug her if she needs it. I think Nami values that more than everyday romantic affection.

Also I think Nami dislikes being looked at in a sexual way and Luffy would never do that.

I wish we got Luffy carrying Nami this way

It's nice that Elbaf had Zoro carrying Nami because the SaNami shippers were claiming after WCI that Sanji is the only one who held her bridal style. But I don't think we have gotten such a scene with Luffy and Nami yet.

It's been a while since I have watched post timeskip One Piece but is it really true that Oda increased the Sanji and Nami shipping post Zou arc?

Some Sanji and Nami shipper I was debating with on Twitter said that Oda included tons of shipping moments between Sanji and Nami in WCI, Wano and Elbaf. This confused me. Is this really true?

In WCI, I do remember Nami being worried about Sanji but that mostly felt like she was caring about a friend like she always does. She even pulled away from the group hug when Sanji returned and tried to take advantage of it.

In Wano, I only remember Nami beating up Sanji for looking into the bathhouse and then calling him the most untrustworthy member of the crew.

Is this really true? I am biased towards Luffy and Nami so I might not remember some of these moments.

I love how Nami went along with Enel until Luffy got beaten. Maybe she was counting on Luffy to rescue her and seeing him defeated made her lose all hope

Skypeia has a lot of underrated Luffy and Nami moments.

Fun fact: Luffy is the only person who has broken Nami's survival instinct

Nami is the person with the most survival instinct in the crew. She can jump into dangerous situation for her friends but if she is being threatened or at the brink of death, she will prioritise her own life given how she uses Usopp and sometimes her other crew members as shield sometimes (Totally human instinct).

But in Wano when Ulti was threatening her to say Luffy won't be Pirate King, her survival instinct would have told her to lie. It wouldn't even harm anyone. Yet she refused to lie.

This scene shows how much Luffy means to her.
