r/FragpunkGame

I'd like to request this subreddit for the following reasons: I am a huge fan of Fragpunk, and play it daily for as long as possible. Its in fact my favorite fps game that's come out recently. I would just love to operate the subreddit for my favorite game. (I also have previous moderator experience, so I know how to manage all the stuff).

Anyone else like making themed loadouts?

I love making themed loadouts in this game. Something about it just feels so fun and roleplay ish to do. I'm talking about stuff like pairing specific Hunters with specific weapons in their lore, (my personal fav is the Reverend with the Label with the Alter Boy skin and the Sanguine Christie weak vitality shot). Or even making loadouts that follow a specific theme like monster hunting, bee master, tracker, etc. I love doing this, and making little extra backstories about each of the weapons, tools, and why that specific Hunter uses them. Anyone use like doing this? Or just me lol

Favorite underrated Weapons, Tools, or Consumables?

For me its gotta be the Springfield, Heavy Knife, and Beetle(s). The Springfield is just such a powerhouse, especially with Dum Dum ammo, and for dirt cheap. The Heavy Knife is also cheap af, and clears groups of mobs with ease when you light attack with it. As for the Beetle(s), you can just get so much info with them. And they work with Traits like Blast Sense and Vigilant! I can't count the amount of times I've beetled and found out that the enemy team trapped the entrance we were gonna push from, or the times I've beetled and found out there was a player corner camping in the compound looking at the angle we were gonna push from. So what are your favorite underrated weapons, tools, and consumables?

Looking for Old West games on Xbox

So I really love old west stuff. Books, movies, tv, games, everything. I’ve already played Red Dead 1 and 2, Hunt Showdown 1896, and Evil West. I also mainly play on Xbox, but am looking to get a PC soon. Any recommendations for old west games? Thanks in advance!

New Frostpunk Player Here!

Not too sure what to put for the flair lol. I picked Frostpunk 2 up awhile ago, played it for like 20 minutes, and put it down. I recently redownloaded it and don’t know why I got bored in the first place. I freaking love this game man, it’s the only city building game that I like, (I generally gravitate towards MMOs and looter shooters), and I’m getting pretty familiar with the controls and what to do. So far, I’ve really been enjoying playing Utopia mode on Serene with Citizen difficulty, and have just been taking my time, exploring, trying out new laws and research stuff, and not stressing too much. Overall, best game I have picked up in a hot minute.

I do have some questions if you guys would indulge a new player.

1: In Utopia mode, is it truly infinite? Or where there be a time when I run out of resources and stuff?

2: I’ve got a lot of steam, a little bit of coal, and no oil. Is it possible to be a fully steam dependent city?

3: How do I increase the amount of heat I can allocate to districts? I want everyone all warm and toasty, but I don’t know how to increase the heat things. I’ve done it a few times accidentally, but I’m not too sure how to replicate it.

4: Stockpile Hubs, yay or nay? I’m debating whether or not I should build them for when the next Whiteout hits.

5: I’ve got a quest that says “Repopulate the Frostland”, with the goal of reaching 35,000 people in settlements. Where exactly do I find these settlements, and is it worth spending the Frostland teams to find them? And what do settlements exactly do?

I’m really looking forward to spending a lot more time in this awesome game. Thanks for listening guys!
