This post is quite moist

I felt it was kinda odd that we have world spawn water bottles but not much else in the way or using the doused effect or anything that interacts with it much, so I made this lil thing just to get some thoughts out. hoping for a fun discussion :)

Legacy Chronicle - 1250 BB a bit too steep?

I know it's got some cool skins, but a set of challenges for arguably worse recolors(I liked only a few things there) and some junk like portraits, title and charms is a bit too pricey, no?

The pass costs 1000 and returns 400 BB back as rewards, this thing has less content, costs 1250 and returns 0 BB

I love the idea, but the price could be a bit lower IMO, maybe around 800-1000

P.S. What if I want only a third of the items, but I can't have that separately? I have 6 unspent sigils that I just don't wanna use

Maybe if it was possible to use them in a different similar thing and you pay for sigil challenges rather than a specific challenge skin set?

Loadouts to try when bored/brunt out?

I just hit 3k hours, been bored of the game. The weapon are just kinda stale to me at this point. I've played everything a bunch and I spend like 5 minutes trying to figure out what loadout I wanna roll with. I've also played *a lot* of melee in the past and funny enough, I'm kinda bored of that as well.
All the funny meme loadouts are kinda problematic because I'm hard stuck in 6 star and can't make super fun but weaker loadouts work like that, I'm not that good.
Any ideas what to do? Maybe stick to a specific weapon?

Questions and Impressions of A Newbie Pt2

Howdy y'all, after about 30 hours worth of playing the game I think I've improved enough to say that I have got a handle on the mechanics/gameplay. With that being said, I still have some questions about things and I thought while I was at it I'd give a few more impressions that I have about the game. I'll start with my impressions first:

  1. The game is insanely diverse, I've not had a single match where the exact same thing happened. Sometimes I spawn right next to a boss, other times on the complete opposite side of the map. Sometimes I fight 6+ hunters a game, other times I never even encounter another player. Everyone plays the game in a completely different way. Overall, it's an extremely unique experience that can be both frustrating and addictive all at once because of the sheer amount of differences between each match.

  2. There is a severe gap between people who are good at the game, and those that aren't. And actually, the gap is so severe that you can often tell if someone is new to the game like myself or has been playing it since launch by the simplest of details. Sometimes it can feel like you are playing against competitive COD players with how accurate and aggressive they are, and other times you kinda feel bad if you completely outclass someone. However, unlike a lot of other games, skill is only part of the battle. In my opinion, I think it's roughly a 1/3 the other two factors being knowledge of the game, and luck (and yes, luck is an extremely big part of the game, which is something I think is very unique to this specific game in this genre).

Switching to my questions:

  1. So far I have played mostly solo, as I have noticed that most people have no interest in teaming with a newbie. I've also heard that some people claim that playing solo is "easier"(which I definitely don't agree with at this current point and time as I get killed more often than not). So my actual question is, why do people say solo is easier?

  2. This is for people like myself who have a more stealthy approach to the game, but are just much better at it than me. Any advice for a fellow stealth player?

  3. For the Assassin and The Spider bosses, could anyone clarify what the strategy for them is? I've never been able to kill either of them and I'm curious if there's something I'm missing about those fights in particular.

  4. Several times now I've come across a "spider nest" in the world and the times that I went into it, I didn't understand what the point of it was. So what exactly is the point of it? Is there some type of mini boss there or???

  5. I've picked up some traits out in the world that I really like. Are all traits unlockable as you level up your bloodline or are certain ones only available if you find them in game? I'm just curious if it will be easier to acquire them at some point.

Thanks bunches to anyone who read this whole thing and thanks in advance for any and all help you can give me. Good luck and happy hunting out there folks.

New anti-cheat and cosmetics survey up

it’s supposedly a survey about anti-cheats, match improvements and cosmetics, but after a few questions about cheating it quickly turns into a cosmetic review survey.

Websites can read your device ID and will ban you even if clear cache or change IP how can cheaters not get banned forever?

If you got banned from certain websites or forums they have certain algorithms running in the background that checks for matches in their database. When there's a match of for instance ip address and device ID, your new account would get insta banned as well.

A video game reads tons of information regarding your device and connection that can be associated with each other.

Yet we are seeing people with VAC bans, constant reports, video proof, new accounts with hundreds of k/d and they are still able to keep playing the game

One thing that came to my mind is there isn't enough people to work on reports or cheating data. That's why they rely on tools that cheaters overcame 5 years ago and hope for the best

They don't need to disclose us the exact strategy they are using to leave cheaters uninformed but if dozens of people are encountering the same cheaters for a week your system is busted

Played with 6 stars as a 3 star

Just hopped on the discord and played with 2 six stars as a lowly 3 star and my god what a miserable experience. I got 1 kill in 5 games because I got a guy unaware with fanning. Every other moment was just getting headshot or my teammates getting headshot and then me getting aped. I peak 2 pixels on a window? boom I'm dead. run outside for 2 seconds boom I'm dead. not sure how anyone has fun in these lobbies because the top players are just in another world where everyone else is a mindless ape.

they seem to always know where you are, have the coordination of green berets and hit at least a body shot on every bullet fired. and there is a lot of bullets for one person when both of your teammates got domed immediately. 0/10 experience do not recommend.

What types of weapons or tactics do your teammates use that you don’t enjoy playing with?

Not asking for the types of people you hate to play with (cheaters, loners, jerks, annoying people, etc.).

I'm asking about those type of players that hurt your experience when you play, because your dynamics are different (not necessarily because one or another is better, just incompatible).

In my case:

  • I try to avoid snipers because I love to play short range or melee. So it's frustrating when a fight could be solved with the full team pushing, but instead we ended up waiting the sniper to come and help (if ever), while we are being killed inside a compound (with no many windows for snipping support). And many times, the only person inside standing was a very injured enemy with plenty of time to heal, rescue their friends, make dinner, and go for a smoke before the sniper arrive to support.
  • And because I like short/melee range, I also try to avoid hidding forever. Of course, sometimes it's necessary. But lately I've been in matches where players don't do anything for several minutes (last I had.. 20 minutes of nothingness). Usually I end up giving up, and pushing by myself. I just cannot stand for long doing nothing and waiting for another team to push first.

PS. I love snipers. There's tons out there extremely good I admire. I just need the rush of hitting enemies with my bat or hear the CLING sound of the shovel in their ribs. lol

Whatever you did with the update made everything worse in my experience.

So many broken things now, weapons switch back by themselves, items have to be picked up 2 sometimes 3 times. Almost constant lag.

New weather request

Can Devs add thunderstruck to rain weather? Like inferno weather but thunder strikes random place on map every minute . Imagine covering shots by sound of thunder or lightning striking between you and enemies during fights

I think it should have same effects as rotjaw electricity but with half more damage

Been playing a lot of marathon and I heard good things about this game. I had an extra 30 so I'm jumping in on word of mouth. All I know is headshots are an instant kill. Can I play solo? Im excited no matter what

Massacre

Fellas, a well placed big dynamite bundle absolutely annihilated the competition at windy run 😂 I don’t think I’ll ever see the likes of this again.
