Even though I don't have any fancy terrain or battle maps, I decided to dive head first into Planetfall and play through a campaign. The only miniatures I have are all fantasy based, but I did not let that stop me. It's all in my imagination anyway!
I found a bunch of Magna-Tiles in storage that my children used to play with many years ago. It worked perfectly for ad hoc terrain features. If you are interested in how my first turn went, I made a Substack post here. I can't wait to continue for more turns!
