I’ve had this Van Cleef necklace for six years, and the bracelet version for about four. I was just cleaning my jewelry and noticed the necklace motif looks dark and even like there’s a black gap between the outer frame and the inner motif. It may be harder to tell in the photo but in real life, it’s pretty noticeable. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or idea on what caused this and what I can do. I cleaned it several ways, but am worried about the gap. I’ll probably take it to the store, but wanted to consult everyone first! Thanks!

Will this look weird when it’s Finished since the circle isn’t perfectly centered around the design? I had them draw the circle for me at the store but they also told me that the finisher will be the one to make the ornament circular. I really don’t feel like frogging so I’m praying this will be okay lol.
