[LN Part 5] Am I the only one confused as to wtf blessings do?
There's a LOT of blessings throughout the series and while some appear to be rather self-evident, some are just never explained at all and I am confused as to what I am supposed to believe they do exactly?
Season 2/Part 2 spoilers - >!The first blessing we see is one from Angrif the god of war, and it's obvious that it is meant to increase combat power in some aspect. What it does exactly is not quite clear, but it seems like it increases the power of mana attacks in particular or just makes the person stronger in general.!<
Season 3/Part 3 spoilers - >!Now here's the big one, the 7 gods blessing Myne gives to everyone close to her. It's one of the most confusing ones, because clearly it's meant to be a blessing from all seven gods, and we see healing with Gunther and Effa, which would be under Fluhtrane so that much is obvious, but what about the other 6? Damuel gets an extended growth period for his mana capacity, which is cool and all, but which god is responsible for that one and why is he the only one who got that? Ferdinand was blessed too, but it's never mentioned that he god another growth period and obviously the rest of Myne's family who have no mana didn't get any mana so clearly they didn't benefit from that aspect...speaking of which, what did Lutz or Tuuli get? They were not injured so no healing, they have no mana so what did it do exactly?!<
>!Then ofc she becomes High Bishop and blesses commoners during baptisms, coming of age and starbind ceremonies...what do those blessings do? It'd never expanded upon if they do anything at all. Like, if Angriff gives a temporary combat buff, what kind of buff would a marriage blessing give?!<

Part 4 spoilers - >!Then there's the really big blessing that Eglantine receives when Myne is wishing for her happiness...everyone is so shocked by it and they claim it came from the gods bc they don't know Myne gave it, but really, what does it do if anything? Does t actually make Eglantine happy like it's an anti-depressant or what?!<
Part 5 spoilers - >!We know she does get pregnant out of nowhere so maybe it had something to do with that, but I am quite confused on the specifics...!<
>!Of course there's also the joint research into blessings and some are explained there, the Dunkelfelger blessing increases both strength and speed due to Angrif and Steifebrise respectively, so that one is very well explained, and ofc we get a direct blessing from Anwachs that makes Rozemyne grow up, which makes sense too, though could Rozemyne use that blessing on someone else to make them grow taller? Obviously not instantly, she's not a god contrary to what Hartmut would say, but still I wonder if it works like that or not...!<
