In need of reliable presence sensors.

I have an FP2 and an FP300, both are not that great.

The FP2 was stuck at reporting occupation after just a short uptime and a few weeks afterwards went fully unavailable (I was to lazy to bother accessing and resetting/replugging it). Now its entity is no longer being provided by the homekit_controller integration. Still plugged in, didn't do anything to it.

The FP300 worked ok-ish for a few weeks but currently is also unavailable (and I again am too lazy to go to it and cycle the battery, I mounted them out of reach).

The FP300 also didn't really trigger that reliably, and stopped triggering if you stood still enough...

The FP300 is paired via Matter, not ZigBee. So I will have to give that a try later. My ZigBee network is pretty tiny though, I barely have any devices set up via ZB in HA. Unless my Hue bulbs count, but they are connected to the Hue hub. Most of my stuff is either Hue or Matter over Thread.

Are the now deleted videos watchable anywhere?

I missed out on the whole thing, would like to watch all the videos if possible.

Alloy XC hardtail recommendations?

I could use a new bike and much prefer alloy.

Most bikes are of course carbon, but even among those I can't really find any that are to my liking. I do love the look of the older Canyon Exceeds, but Canyon appears to have fully gotten rid of the Exceed in general. That was just about the only carbon bike that I would have considered buying, if their latest paint jobs didn't look so ugly.

Either way, I would prefer an alloy bike anyway, but finding one that looks nice and isn't a budget bike is pretty hard.

Components are not too important, I would replace most things anyway should they not be to my liking. Ideally, I would buy just a frame but that is even more rare...

Full alloy (including wheels, bars, ...) would be nice.

Would love some recommendations. As a reference for my preference, the older Exceeds are quite beautiful to me, anything that kinda looks like that both in paint job and geometry would be great.

Current bike is based on the rather budget Bergamot Revox LTD Alloy 2016 (orange/black), albeit with a full drivetrain swap among other stuff. Love its paint job too, but the frame does show that it was fairly budgety.

How to run Win 8.1 on a MacBook Neo? I need to run the Alarms app.

I am currently trying to use UTM, but I cannot get it to let me change resolutions, even with the guest tools installed. At the set 800x600, none of the Metro apps open. And I just need the god damn Alarms app to run, as no one has properly documented its behavior and I want to recreate it for my personal website.

Any ideas about what I can do?

I would even take someone taking a video of the Alarms app behaviors, all the videos that I have seen didn't even let the stopwatch run a full minute or a timer finish.

This is so fucking stupid, I have 3 computers within meters of me that have Win 8.1 multibooted, but none of them I can currently use right now for various reasons :/

Can you pick out the best projector under 100€ on amazon.de for me?

Need it as a gift for someone who currently doesn't even have a TV, and when I asked about the most she'd spend on one, well... it's 60€ :/

I currently have the Magicubic HY300Pro sitting here as a potential option and it's not great.

Apart from it's noise, speakers that shouldn't exist, lack of wireless streaming (like AirPlay), mediocre brightness and quality, it for some reason also considers some .mkv movies and shows to be incompatible but plays others fine. It's also just great that it uses a super short power cable with a proprietary connector, because getting 12V over USB-C would have made way too much sense. Would have to solder an adapter on for that if I were to gift that model.

I don't know if this is too much to ask for at this price, but adjustable subtitle and audio tracks would be great.

So far I don't own a projector myself and don't know what to look for. I assume there isn't too much room for improvement with a budget of sub 100€, but better=better.

I would like to add some ambient background music to a little website I have and want to use some SMG music.

Some tracks like the To the Gateway, Rosalina's Comet Observatory, Rosalina's Story, File Select, Peaceful Stars, The Girl's Sadness, Family and Star Chance are really good for this, but I don't know all of the other ones that might be. I could of course go through all tracks manually, but I'd rather ask first as that sounds tedious ;D
