Only 188,000 minted. Rare in good condition and hold a premium above their silver content in even worn condition (graded Good-Very Good). Anything graded Fine and above sell for a few hundred dollars each. Above VF grade they go for thousands of dollars each.

Mine is a humble example around Fine grade.

Gift issued on the completion of the Hong Kong Bank of China tower 1982. Got a lucky win on Ebay for $27.50. I don't think anyone knew what it was. Ounce of silver.

The 1910 Australian florin is the first-ever florin (two shillings) minted for the Commonwealth of Australia. Struck in London during the brief reign of King Edward VII, it features a 92.5% sterling silver composition, a weight of 11.31 grams, and a mintage of roughly 1.25 million.

This is my nicest 1910, grade a/VF. Nice condition for 116 year old coin.

Hi, I'm looking to buy 3 florins to finish off a set. 1910, 1913 and 1921 are the last ones I need. Hoping to find better than average but not looking for PCGS or UNC as I don't have thousands of dollars to spend.

Willing to pay market value for decent circulated examples. I had a circulated year set and I've upgraded to better coins except these last three.

I've been collecting Crowns and other Predecimal coins for a while. Used to be able to get Crowns around their silver price but everything seems to be over $100 even for rough circulation examples. With the premiums on them now I'm a lot more fussy about what I buy.

I have a liking for military themed silver. Recently picked up this coin set, Australians at war. 2 Oz and 1 Oz coins with a miniature Australia Service Medal. Issue number 420/1000.

I emptied the contents of this folder after I bought it. Put the coins into better storage. Thought I'd see how far I could fill it with "spare" florins and crowns.

I've had the sulphur and the wedgie for a while. Picked up the other three for a good price, now looking to complete the piedfort set with the 1989 kookaburras. As much as I hate the packaging on these I really like the chunky 40g piedfort coins.

Tracked down the last one to complete the set of WW1 Posters.

Probably just a drop in the ocean here but felt like venting. Auspost delivers 4 parcels to me today. 3 boxes in immaculate condition, the only one marked fragile got squashed and mis handled of course.

I don't think sellers should use fragile tape, it just seems to encourage vandalism.

Scored a better 1932 Florin for my collection. Slowly upgrading my pre decimal year set.

Went through a stack of old halfpenny coins to complete my year set. Had these left over so I made treasure chests for my grandchildren and sent them the left over pennies and half pennies.
