Why do you guys not understand this whole big debate thing with Andrew guy and everything else they do is just to sell you some useless entertainment and keep you in the matrix?

People are fooled so easily

This is something I have seen for a while on social media and I wanted to know your guy's opinion about it.

For a while on Facebook there have been very pro israel accounts run by lankans which spread pro israel propaganda and they call themselves "global strategists". The posts range from official statements from israeli ambassadors in SL to your cliché islamophobic posts.

It is a well known fact that the israeli knesset spends billions of money on influencers fro propaganda. Could these people be paid? Or are sri lankans genuinely pro israel?

Today I saw a post about "Mamdani is looking into arresting Netanyahu because he has an arrest warrant from the ICC". Which he most probably cannot do because he is the mayor. And the comments were all calling him a jihadist and people cheering Netanyahu.

And I'm struggling to understand when did we become so pro israel? Has that always been the case or is propaganda really paying off?

I, 34F am at that point where I feel like I should have a child. Why? Because of selfish reasons. Because I love my partner and I want to have his kids. But the heat wave that hit Europe really has me asking if it's the right thing to do.

Our planet is literally disintegrating infront of our eyes. The continent is over heating. This is supposed to be the coolest summer because it will be only worse from now on.

Then there's the whole politics of it. Even with so much evidence that our planet is fucked up they are getting rid of climate goals to build new AI data centers. Right wing extremists are rising everywhere and they are getting rid of healthcare and all social systems. So in reality the future generations will only have it worse than us.

I feel like if I really love my potential child, I should not be reproducing. Am I tripping, or do other people think like me?

Hey all, may be you can provide some tips about how to deal with my in laws. I (34M) am a brown immigrant in Germany. Came here about 10 years ago got my degree and a job and currently a German citizen. My partner is a German. Her parents are otherwise genuinely good humans apart from the fact that they live and breathe the AFD.

We obviously don't share their politics but I never argue with them or try to change their stance on it. They are those "you are one of the good immigrants" type of folks who watch endless AFD propaganda including Björn Höcke talking about eugenics 😒 My partner tries to change them but we know it won't work.

My problem is that they cannot even go 30 minutes without talking about the AFD. Every time they invite us thats all they talk about. I usually stare at my food and don't engage while my partner tries desperately to tell them that they are watching propaganda. I just dont want to put myself through that anymore when I could be doing something much more pleasant.

Should I just cancel every time and give a random excuse and send only my partner (because despite politics it's still her folks). Or should I tell them that because I dont like the topic of discussion, I choose to sit myself out of these occasions because they should still have their freedom of speech?
