Sometimes I like to pretend like the people around me are just primates and it helps
So for example, I live in an apartment in my landlord's back yard. The water in my town gets cut off a lot, especially when it does not rain for a couple months. The thing is, she has a good water system that was built when she built the apartments with a water tank and a backup water tank. So in theory there should be water available 24/7. But both my landlord and my neighbor don't want to cooperate or have a rational conversation about how to properly use and manage the great system that was put in place. So all 3 of us, my neighbor, my landlord, and I suffer without water for long periods of time. It is also interesting that my landlord who cleaned houses for a living her whole life ended up being a landlord and I, an engineer, ended up renting. I'm not sure how unqualified people end up with these jobs it doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Anyhow, instead of being angry at the situation, everyday when I leave my apartment and see my landlord or my neighbor, I just imagine them as monkeys hopping around my front lawn in circles making grunting noises. When I do that, everything makes more sense and I am at peace with the world

I swear I will meet the most macho men and then they will openly admit their fear of needles. Is there anyone out there who doesn't mind these doctor visits?
Anybody else on here think it is impossible to make long-term plans anymore?
I became an adult around the year 2004, and then in my 20s and 30s I was hard working and had more discipline than most people that I know. I worked hard towards big goals, a lot of them long term plans. Everything that I built was destroyed very fast. Everything that I earned was taken away from me and most of the time I was flat out robbed (though it was legal).
Anyhow, I no longer make long-term plans anymore. I find it useless to try and save money because I know that if I save for 5 years all the money could be gone in a second if I needed any kind of medical procedure. Right now I have the money to buy a dog and take care of it, but I'm not going to do it because I know the dog will outlive me.
I guess living in the moment is the new thing to do now...
Anybody else living that way?

reddit.comI hate when decisions are 50/50
I have noticed lately that one of the biggest problems in my life are decisions that I have to make that are 50% for and 50% against and especially when there is no deadline. Ugh. It drives me crazy. Like during the day the decision is all I can think about. I make up my mind, then five minutes later I change my mind back the other way, and it just keeps going back and forth like this forever. It is terrible. And then, even after the decision is made, I will think about the consequences of the decision for months afterwards, as in, did I make the right choice.? Anybody else have this issue?

reddit.comAre there any rapid fire subreddits like AskReddit?
I just got banned from askReddit. I am trying to build my karma for this new account, and I'm wondering if there are any other rapid fire subs like that where there are like 500 posts every hour and I can be the first to comment.
