I just saw a post which said that they need to make a dating app that matches misogynistic women with rss men and then the rest of us can be happy because we won't have to deal with them. I don't know but these jokes have always rubbed me in such a wrong way. It just seems like a different way of saying you shouldn't drink or wear certain clothes to avoid getting graped, because there's always another woman who's doing this who the man can target. As long as I a feminist woman who practices the tenants of it in my personal life get to do so, I don't care what happens to the other woman, that's what it feels like to me. Similarly I don't like the jokes of sending all misogynistic women to Afghanistan and getting all women from there out. Because do you really believe that if a system like that still prevailed, some man wouldn't be taking inspiration from it? Your problem doesn't need to be an individual but the entire root system.

How do you function in a system where your whole worth is defined by how good of a wife you've been, or how many sons you've produced? How do you let go of that psychological training that's been inside your head?

At the same time, sometimes when I see these women I want to really shake their shoulders, and scream, "don't you realize I'm fight for you too." In a country where we already can't leave our house without getting heckled and harassed just for being a woman, these glasses are going to be the bane of our existence. We're all just going to be looking around trying to figure out if we are being recorded or not. If someone is taking our pictures and digitally altering it, then circulating these pictures. Perverts are going to be buying these glasses in masses and it's us who are going to be blamed.

Why did you leave the home when you know people have these glasses and can take your picture? Didn't you know better to wear something more covering? Shouldn't you have avoided public spaces full of men?

If you see someone with these meta glasses scream and shout, humiliate these people so they don't try to record other women. There are apps that can let you alert if there are these glasses in the vicinity. Everyone should be getting them on their phones.

I started getting body hair very young. I have light skin but very dark coarse body hair that is very easily visible. I was bullied severely when I was young because all the girls in my class didn't have body hair like I did. Was called a bear and ridiculed so much that I turned to shaving and waxing at a very young age. The amount of pain that I've gone through to fit into the beauty standard. It's still imbibed in me when after so long. I hated myself that even in the safety of my own home if I hadn't shaved I would wear full length pajamas so I wouldn't have to look at my legs.

A couple of days ago, we were taking graduation photos, just headshots. Wore a pretty dress, did my hair but forgot to shave my legs in the hurry. Upon reaching i told myself it didn't matter because my legs wouldn't be in the photo. But I still kept my legs hidden while talking to everyone so no one noticed, and halfway through I realized no one was going out of their way to look at my legs, girls would come to compliment me on my dress or my hair and no one cares. Even I stopped caring and it has been so liberating. Honestly feels like the inner child in me has healed.
