First and foremost I really hope this is ok to post here! And thank you for any advice you have.

I currently work full time in an ICU as a CNA/CCT. I graduate in December. Unfortunately my work does not allow nurse apprentices in the ICU or the ER. Only med surge, and all love to my med surge nurses, I just love critical care.

I did however land an interview at a hospital a town away and will be doing a panel interview for ICU and the ER. But the problem is I’ve never done a panel interview. Only a single one on one and I am quite terrified. I do have a resume, 5 years ICU experience as a CNA, and two glowing letters of recommendations.

If anyone has advice to make me stand out and be wanted I’d appreciate it

I’m in nursing school so I have little to no time. Which leads me to neglect attention for my husband sometimes.
One night he asked if I wanted to play Halo.
I originally said no since the last time we played halo was with my brother and I absolutely sucked. (They also kept killing me. Rude af)
Alas I finally agreed. We’ve played every single one up until 5. We have so much fun. It’s opened up a whole new level of our relationship. He enjoys how into it I get.
I unfortunately am playing 5 solo since it’s not couch coop (also rude). But he will sit with me and hang out. Cheering me on while I defeat the Wardens.

It’s been so nice to make time for one another and just play the games. Or read the books (he also got the books!!)

But yah that’s it. Im just thankful for a game that has given me a new perspective on making time for one another. That’s all.

Some people asked for an update of where I decided to go. Well…

I went to Jillian at The Beauty Project salon in midtown. She absolutely killed it in the best way possible. I left feeling so beautiful and like I reclaimed a part of myself. 🥰

I got banned for a punk shirt I posted with a swastika crossed out that said no more.

It’s been a month and a half and they said to reach out today. So I emailed them and they wanted me to provide my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION over an email. I said absolutely not. No one in their right mind would send that over email. I can provide my ID and my Venmo account.

Does anyone know how this works? Or how I can get my 200$? Especially since I can’t login to put the information in.

Does anyone know any in town?

I have curly hair and I’m so over going to regular salons that do not cater to curly hair and butcher it.
And yah I know midtown curls is a thing but 300$ for a haircut is steep.
