Changing names + dual citizenship

Has anyone changed their name as a dual citizen of one or more non-accepting/conservative leaning country? I’m American, but I use a Chinese-issued Travel Document to enter China (nationality conflict; p common with second gen kids). I’ve been putting off starting the process of changing my name legally bc of potential issues with documents not matching up, esp bc I might want to live in China for a period of time.

I feel like I'm actively throwing away my future

Sorry for the trauma dump in advance

I'm entering my second year of college on academic probation. Last year felt like a continuous downhill slide — my fall quarter I actually did okay, even though I was denied most of my accommodation requests. My winter quarter I failed a class. Spring quarter, I realized that my meds weren't really effective and I decided to see a new psych. I'm out of state, so the provider I've been seeing couldn't change my dose, only prescribe me large quantities during breaks.

The new psych put me on SSRIs. I'm diagnosed with depression, but I honestly don't think I have it (or at least clinical depression). I was diagnosed in middle school right after my dad died and also struggling hardcore with dysphoria (trans and was in the closet). The SSRIs were terrible for me (headache, nausea, blunted feelings, lack of motivation, passive suicidality) and I did stop, but it was too late to get my grades up. I ended up with 3 Fs and 1 A.

Idk where to go from here. There's definitely a lot I should do — try new meds, probably submit an appeal to the accomodations center again, see if I can retroactively withdraw from some of my classes, etc etc. I'm just paralyzed by how big the hole I've dug for myself is, as well as how much I need to do to get myself out of it. I want to go to grad school. I want to be able to meet deadlines. I want to not feel like a failure. I want to succeed. But it just seems like the only thing I'm good at is fucking myself over.

Getting insane amounts of euphoria from wearing buisnesswear

I'm in DC for the summer as an intern, and it's the first time in my life where I've had to wear formal/businesswear every day. As a kid, I was wayyy too into preppy fashion and would spend an ungodly amount of time looking through catalogs and lookbooks and fantasize about wearing the outfits I saw. Getting to look in the mirror and see that fantasy come alive just has me feeling so giggly inside, even if it's maybe a bit sick and twisted to delight in being forced to wear a suit when it's 85 and muggy outside.

M19, 135lbs, 5’3, skiing primarily New England but going to college out west. I’m in between a few different freeride/all mountain skis rn (also considering m-frees and rustler 9s), but I can’t demo either the Jeffreys or Wildcats as easily. I really like how both sound on paper (especially the Jeffreys), but I’m worried they’ll feel too heavy to be playful/quick. I love love love moguls so even tho these aren’t specifically for them I’d like these skis to perform okay in bumps. Can any lighter/smaller skiers weigh in?
