Del sol fuel pump not priming on incline

Hey everyone,

This is my 1994 del sol s. It has a d15b7, and I recently manual swapped it. If I go to start the car on an incline, the fuel pump won’t prime while the key is in accessory. If I roll it back down to flat ground or a decline, the fuel pump primes and the car starts right up.

I figured this out because I stalled entering my shop which has a slight incline to it (still learning manual haha) It would just crank but not start. Then I put the key in accessory and listened for the hum of the fuel pump and sure enough it didn’t. I rolled it down to flat ground and it started right up. I’m thinking it may be the fuel pump going bad but it could be something else ofc. Any ideas?

Please, any comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Del sol brake pedal issue

Hello everyone,

I would like to begin this post by saying I have never posted on Reddit so excuse me if I posted in the wrong place or worded something incorrectly.

This is my 1994 Honda del sol s which has some mods done to it. It is relatively stock, I manual swapped it and did a rear disc conversion. This is where my issues is.

The issue I am having is my brake pedal sinks to the floor when I start my car. I am able to build pressure with the car off, but the second the car starts it sinks to the floor and can’t rebuild pressure. I replaced the proportioning valve with one from a 95 del sol si (because they came with rear discs), but this didn’t fix my issue. I then replaced the master cylinder because I did some research and came to the conclusion that could be part of the issue. But it still didn’t fix it.

I bench bled the new master as well, and have bled each caliper (starting with rear right) a thousand times.
During the disc swap I had to replace one of the brake lines, which I coupled the old brake line with the new brake line to the flare nut.

The last thing I wanted to include was the vacuum portion of it. I installed a skunk2 intake manifold, and a 70mm skunk2 tb. I wondered if this may contribute to the issue? Maybe there’s too much vacuum to the booster and it can’t regulate it?

Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated!!!
