I stupidly bought this Eames chair while wearing platform Dr. Martins boots, thinking I’d fit in it. I realized upon getting it home that my feet (without the boots) don’t even hit the floor.
If anyone knows why this version of the Eames Plush Aluminum Group Office Chair is so abnormally tall, I’d gladly appreciate it.
About five years ago, my grandparents downsized into a smaller neighborhood. Since they would no longer have a guest room, they gave me their bed, dresser, and nightstand.
All I know about these pieces of furniture is that they belonged to my great-grandparents, and were probably made in North Carolina.
If anyone knows what style these pieces are made in, I’d gladly appreciate it.
I have this Eames Plush Executive Group Office Chair. While I still love the chair, it’s too tall for my current desk, and it cannot change heights. I don’t know if I should buy a sit-to-stand desk and hope one of the various heights would suffice, or if I should buy a standard desk that’s abnormally tall.
Also, does anyone know why this particular Eames office chair is so abnormally tall? My only theory is that it was intended to be used for an office board-meeting table, but it’s just a guess.
