Dog is excessively drooling
Hello!
My dog is a pitbull, 8 years old, spayed female. She's never had any major health issues other than giardia a year ago, and is up to date on all vaccines.
Last night I noticed her licking her lips a lot, but nothing was out of the ordinary. This morning she woke me up to go potty and her neck was soaked with drool. I looked in her mouth and everything is fine. She isn't nauseous, her poop is normal, she's running around and rolling like she normally does. She had the zoomies as well.
All I get when I look it up is gastrointestinal stuff, toxins, or gum disease. But she hasnt gotten into anything (ive been with her most of yesterday and last night, and when I wasnt with her, my bf was) and I already mentioned everything else looks fine.
I want to just wait and see but I don't know if theres anything else it could be, or if it could be a major sign of something wrong. Just looking for information, thank you!
