Created Our First Project, A DBMS

So as the title said, this was our first project, a DBMS. Me and 4 of my friends are in second year and we were only doing dsa in first year. We didn't learn any webdev or ai or system dev so we had no idea how to create a project but we really wanted to make one.

Then we learned about how unordered set work in c++ and how it can search anything in o(1)(except the collision case) and then thought of using the same concept to create a dbms. Then we came up with something small of our own, we thought instead of keeping a linked list in array we would keep a bst as it would search in logn and we can store more data per index and it will not have to double it's size after every few additions, also this is faster in case of collision.(we thought of all this to increase speed but then ended up using python to make it since managing data is MUCH easier in python)

After this it was so much fun!, we came up with concepts of all the basic functions we could think of and how they will work together, we also used git and github for the first time(it started with us leaving 50 lines below each function so that when we push them, they will not collide). we learned ALOT of things

also 1 thing that i would like to mention is that we tried using as less ai as we can. this project had 4 files and we initially wrote the first file using ai since it's work would be to print the interface of dbms but then the ai did such a sloppy job that we broke it's code(we kept the part where it cleared the terminal and deleted the part where it was mapping the user command with function call and wrote our own custom code for this). all the functions in file 2 and 3 were written either by hand or written in c++ then converted to python using ai, and then all of them were polished using ai for all the exception cases that could occur. The entire 4th file was written using ai since it's work was to compress data and store it and then decompress when the program runs again(but we did go line by line on that file to understand what was happening)

We learned alot from this project, but i would love to learn how good or bad this really is, what can be improved in this or is there any way to improve how we present this on github? Is it easy to understand and use? or any bugs or idea about an upgrade?
none of us have really used sql or other dbms that much so i would love to get the feedback of people who have actually used it.(i already know it would be ragebaiting to use this if you have already used sql but please leave a review)
