The mechanic said it’s a millimetre outside of the fixable area, but agreed to fix it anyway. Didn’t end up changing me anything, so just looking for some extra opinions on if it’s safe to keep really. I drive on motorways kind of a lot as well, and have a big trip coming up soon.

Also if I were to replace it, can I just buy one since I’ve only gotten all 4 new ones 3-4 months ago? They are Hankook ventus prime 4 215/55r18 99v if it makes any difference.

Hi everyone! I got a screw in my back tyre, took the car to a shop and they said it can’t be repaired as it’s “a millimetre” outside of the safe fixing area. I was kind of persistent and referred to the graph on their website that showed this still being in the minor repair area and they ended up agreeing to fix it.

HOWEVER they didn’t want to charge me, I’m assuming because of liability reasons and now I’m scared as I drive a lot on motorways and need to do a big trip soon. Any thoughts on this? TIA

I'm a sewing beginner, but determined to create my summer wardrobe with basically all the pieces from Beyond Nine lol, and would like to make this dress first! Any suggestions are welcome! Would love for the dress to have pockets as well.
