would something like this work for connecting rf to a pal tv?

its very hard to find information on connecting the original style of famicom to a tv outside the US, so its very confusing for someone in the UK (especially since this is my first time dealing with an rf console) I plan on modding my console in the future so this is just for testing, if the image isnt clear or lacks colour as it tends to do when hopping between regions then im fine with that

.

.

(also im super confused about if I need the official rf switch or not as I did try plugging the console into my tvs antenna port and tuning to 91.25 but I assume it was unmodulated and couldn't pick anything up?)

video losing signal after a few seconds (possibly picoboot??)

i got my first gamecube recently so I could mod it, I tested it worked beforehand and everything turned on fine so I soldered in a picoboot chip. while testing that the connection to my tv completely drops out while the console stays on, I disconnected the power to the chip and tried again but it still happens so now im not sure if its to do with picoboot

I cant tell if it did this before because it didnt exactly occur to me to let it simmer for a while just to see if it decides to die, and I cant find much information on only the signal going off

im sure I installed picoboot correctly because it boots into swiss and even runs games perfectly fine until the signal goes (and it even happens when the pico has no power)

does anyone have an idea what's causing this

PSBBN hangs after ps2 boot screen

I installed a fresh copy of PSBBN on a Seagate 1TB 3.5 HDD using Arch Linux, following the steps on the github page

when I plug the drive into my ps2 (SCPH-39003) using an official network adapter (SCPH-10350) which has the SATA mod, I get the normal ps2 splash screen but after that it hangs and is completely black until I reboot the console

ive tried reinstalling psbbn , holding square to try and boot into the game selector menu, and just hail mary rebooting a fair few times but it keeps getting stuck on the black screen. I haven't found anyone else with this issue online so im wondering if I did anything wrong? or if theres an obvious way to fix this? the console boots fine without the hard drive plugged in and ive never put any other custom firmware on
