Looking for completely free resources

Hey everyone, I’m a Class 10 CBSE student. I haven’t started any proper/structured Olympiad preparation yet, although I’ve tried solving some Olympiad-level questions here and there and I’ve recently started getting genuinely interested in Olympiads.

I’m mainly interested in Physics and Maths, especially IOQM and NSEP. I’m also interested in NSEA, and resources for things like NSEC are welcome too.

Right now, I’m mostly confused about where to start. I don’t really want to jump straight into extremely difficult problems without having the necessary foundations first. I’m looking for resources that can help me gradually go from:

beginner → fundamentals → intermediate → advanced → international Olympiad level

I’m planning to start serious, structured Olympiad preparation in Class 11, so I’d like to use this time to understand the resources and build a good foundation.

I’m specifically looking for 100% free resources, preferably recommendations for:

- Lectures/courses

- YouTube channels

- Books or legally available PDFs

- Problem sets

- Previous-year papers

- Mock tests

- Websites

- Study plans/roadmaps(reallyyy appreciated)

- Anything else that you think is genuinely useful

I’d especially appreciate it if you could mention what level each resource is meant for and what order you’d recommend using them in. I’m okay with resources that are initially very basic — I’d rather build things properly than skip fundamentals.

If you were starting Olympiad prep around my level, what would your resource roadmap look like?

Thanks!

I've lost interest in dr but at the same I've not

I loved dark romance books like 1 year ago all i that I'd read was dark romance books then i fell into a reading slump for 6 months and when I started reading dark romance books again, couldn't finish them😭 like i always left the book in the middle and the main ick for me ig is killing or anything unjust(can't find the word so bear with me😭🥀) but I've no problem with stalking and the smut is dr is the best i truly enjoy it but too much smut is also an ick now ( i loved books with smut before)

Now fantasy is one of my fav genres like the dark fantasy typaa but the same thing happens with it but i can get through it by just thinking it's fantasy the world's different, i haven't enjoyed a book in sooooo long tho💔. dark romance is also one of my fav genres but now can't go through even one book sooo guyss if you have any tips or recs I'd trulyyy appreciate it😭🙏

Is cbse really just ratta maaro and all?

I'm a cbse student, and I was talking to someone from an IB school who's also preparing for competitive exams

I asked them why they didn't choose cbse since it's usually considered good for jee/neet, they said they don't like ratta maarna and prefer application-based learning which is completely fair,Everyone has their own learning style

But they also keep saying things like "cbse is easy" or "It's just memorization" or"your life is easy" i mean there's too much competition here so saying my life is easy is just disrespecting 😭✌️

That honestly got me thinking, is that really true or just a stereotype?

Coz for me personally, till around 7th grade I could memorize almost anything and score well. But now even if I want to do ratta, my brain just refuses 😭. sure there are subjects/topics in cbse where you have to memorize stuff,But isn't that true for every board to some extent? Maths and science definitely need understanding, and cbse has also started including more competency- and application-based questions.

So is "cbse = ratta" just a stereotype, or is there some truth to it? 🤷‍♀️

I'd love to hear from people who've studied in different boards or cbse board. What's your experience?

Looking for an original standalone Desi Romance book with a realistic amnesia/lab-trial twist

Hey everyone,

I am trying to find a specific, full-length original Desi romance book that I read a while ago, and it’s driving me crazy because I can't remember the title. The author deliberately used a normal/romantic title (nothing sci-fi or experimental sounding) to hide a massive plot twist.

Just to clarify, this is completely REAL and contemporary, NOT a fantasy, dystopian, or sci-fi world. It is set in the normal, modern world.

Here are all the exact details I remember:

The Plot & Amnesia: The main couple was deeply in love and went on a secret 1 or 2-month vacation together. Nobody around them knew where they went, who they were with, or where they were going. Something happened to them during this time, and they completely lost their memories of those specific months.

The Reunion: When they return to their normal lives, they don't recognize each other at all because of the memory loss. Later on, they cross paths as strangers and end up going on a date.

The Restaurant Trigger: They end up at the exact same restaurant they frequented during their forgotten vacation. The Indian song "Haal-e-Dil" starts playing (or they used to sing it together), and the combination of the song and the restaurant triggers simultaneous, intense flashbacks of their lost memories.

The Clinical Plot Twist: As the book progresses, it turns out it wasn't a normal accident. There was an illegal, real-world science experiment/medical trial going on behind closed doors. The main characters find out they were actually used as lab rats, which is the actual chemical reason why their memories were wiped.

It is a whole standalone book (not a one-shot or short story collection). Since the title doesn't hint at any clinical or lab stuff at all, it's impossible to find via normal tags.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Even if the book was deleted, renamed, or moved to Paid Stories, please let me know the author's name or the title if you remember it! Thank you so much!

(Edited by ai so you all can understand what I'm tryna say😭✌️)
