What is happening to my print bed?

I have been printing in PETG on this bed. Some areas on the front side of the bed have developed terrible adhesion. Washing with warm water and soap has produced no change.

In other areas the bed works perfectly. In the picture above, the same shape of printed at the front of the bed (left) and has multiple points of failure. At the back of the bed (right) it prints flawlessly.

I cannot see any visual issues at the front of the bed. Is this just a bed issue and a new bed is needed, or possibly some other issue with the printer?

Too many major retailers in Canada, including Canadian retailers, are currently choosing to label Lake Ontario as Lake America on their store websites.

This afternoon I've been looking to see which retailers are showing, on their Canadian websites, "Lake America" instead of Lake Ontario, and sending polite messages to their customer service complaining about their choice.

(Yes, I know that they are often syndicating this from another company that does this, but they bear responsibility for their choices.).

So far I have noticed.:

  1. Walmart Canada - https://www.walmart.ca/en/store-finder
  2. Loblaws across all their different store names

https://www.loblaws.ca/en/store-locator?type=store
https://www.realcanadiansuperstore.ca/en/store-locator
https://www.nofrills.ca/en/store-locator

  1. Sobeys - https://www.sobeys.com/store-locator

  2. Metro do this as well, but their customer service was the only one to respond on a Sunday evening and they acknowledged that this is an issue.

Emphasising how they have responsibility, there are others who use the same map providers and whose maps retain the correct names.

RONA uses the same provider (Google) as the 4 retailers above, but RONA's website correctly shows Lake Ontario . Similar Home Depot Canada, despite being the subsidiary of an American firm, continues to show Lake Ontario too.

It takes action to drive change; I urge you, if you have 10 minutes to spare, to check some of your regular retailers' websites in Canada and let them know if you feel they need to change their apparent stance on this issue.
