Plavix

Hi everyone,

I’m the caregiver for my mother who had a brain aneurysm (and subsequent stroke) in 1985.

She was put on plavix about 5 years ago for prevention.

I’m just worried because her balance isn’t great and she is a fall risk.

I’m wondering if she really should be on the plavix or if there is something “safer”?

Thanks for any advice.

Just Started PEP. Need advice.

Hi, I’m nervous so please be kind.

I should start with I am not on prep.

I went to a sex party last Wednesday and hooked up with this guy. We blew each other briefly. He then ate my ass and was about to enter me and I asked him to put a condom on, which he did. He didn’t cum but I’m just paranoid the condom broke. Right after we got done, he fucked another guy bare. I know that’s common at these parties.

Since I’m worried, I started PEP about 40 hours after hooking up.

Am I overthinking this? The doctor put me on Truvada and Tivicay and I think it’s the Truvada that’s killing my stomach. Terrible GI side effects.

Welcome any thoughts. Thanks.

Hockessin Gossip Girls

Am I reading too much into this, or does the phrase “finally get that introduction you’ve been hoping for” come across as a little self-important? If someone invited you to a networking coffee and described it this way, would you see it as generous networking or a bit egotistical?

I feel like It can come across as, “I have access to important people and you need me to get to them,” which some may feel is self-important or ego-driven.
