Fraud awareness post for ybr users

In the winter of 2025, I visited Asif Auto Center on Multan Road, near Zainabia Trust Hospital, Mustafa Town, Lahore, 54000, for engine tuning and to have a net (jali) seat cover installed on my ybr.

to me at the time, my original grey seat was replaced with a torn black one, and a new cover was placed over it, completely concealing the change. Many months later, upon removing the seat cover, I was shocked to discover this fraudulent exchange. The seat underneath was severely torn, worn out, and had moldy foam. I deeply regret trusting this service centre. I wish to caution everyone against trusting this particular Yamaha service dealer, as I believe they are dishonest. When I recently contacted them, they dismissed my concerns, stating that too much time had passed. I only possess proof of payment via bank transaction, as I have misplaced the original bill. I suspect they retain a copy of the bill but will likely refuse to provide it.

Are there really no companies left that need candidates? Is the job market really that bad in pakistan. I have been applying simce 2 months and ive applied 1000+ jobs and got no response from anyone it wasn't like this in 2024. Ive used evey channel to find a legit company but im not even getting any emails except confirmation of application. Not even rejections. What's going on is it because of June July?

SBP just changed the rules for savings accounts over 10 Million PKR. (1cr)

With the State Bank of Pakistan’s new rule, banks are no longer legally required to give the minimum regulatory profit rate to individuals holding a monthly average balance over PKR 10 million. Basically, if you have more than that in a savings account, you now have to negotiate your own rate with the bank.

On top of that, SBP just launched "InvestPak" for direct investment into government securities. I have more than 1cr in savings bank and im kind of worried about the outcome.

For those affected, what is your move?

How does this apply to Islamic savings?

The Architecture of Silence (based on a true story)

The breaking point didn't happen with a quiet conversation. It happened with a desperate, chaotic scene right in the middle of our office parking lot. I still remember the absolute panic in her eyes when she grabbed my car keys, trying to force me to stay and fight with her. In that exact moment, looking at the wreckage of what we had become, I felt a cold finality settle deep into my chest. I told her flatly that it was over, and I walked away.

But our situation was way heavier than a normal breakup. Months before the drama peaked, we had crossed a cultural line and become physically intimate. that carries an immense amount of guilt, weight, and secrecy. Almost immediately after it happened, the reality of what we’d done hit me like a physical blow. It was a grave mistake not because my feelings weren't real, but because the physical closeness had become a dangerous bandage. It was blinding us to the deep flaws in our relationship, keeping us trapped in a volatile loop where we used intimacy to paper over massive red flags.

I knew myself, and I knew her. If I stayed around, our usual routine would take over. Within three weeks, my natural instinct to forgive would activate, she would apologize, and we would slide right back into the same toxic patterns, using physical closeness to ignore the actual chaos.

To save our future, I had to completely rewrite the script. I chose absolute discipline. I resigned from the office, blocked her on every single platform, and vanished into thin air. I didn't leave an explanation or a parting fight. I just dropped the temperature to absolute zero.

For seven agonizing months, I maintained total radio silence.

Because of our cultural values, our relationship had been kept a complete secret; her family had absolutely no idea I even existed. For nearly a year, while I focused entirely on stabilizing my life and my mind, she was left living in the wreckage of the unknown. She had to walk into that same office every single day, looking at my empty space, carrying the immense guilt of our past, convinced that I had abandoned her and that our mistake had cost her everything.

Then, after the seventh month, I made my move.

Instead of sending a text or unblocking her number, I went through the ultimate traditional protocol. I had my family formally contact hers out of nowhere to propose a rishta. Because her parents knew nothing of our past, they simply saw a respectable, settled match approaching them through the proper, honorable channels. Her reputation and honor inside her household stayed completely protected.

The day of the formal meeting arrived. I walked into her family’s drawing room and sat squarely on the sofa next to my parents. When she finally walked through the door to serve the tea, expecting to see a stranger, our eyes locked. She completely paralyzed. Under the watchful eyes of her father and brothers, she had to maintain a perfectly blank, traditional face, but I could see the burning fury and utter shock in her eyes. She was processing the realization that I had played a high-stakes psychological game with her sanity.

But as the families spoke and the proposal was officially accepted, the anger in her expression began to melt. She realized my disappearance wasn't out of hatred or discard; it was the heavy discipline required to correct the foundation of our lives and walk through her front door the right way.

The real confrontation happened a few days later. We managed to slip away and meet completely in secret, away from the eyes of our families who thought we were simply waiting for the wedding details to be finalized.

The moment the door to our hiding spot clicked shut and we were truly alone, her traditional, shy compliance shattered instantly. She walked right up to me, her eyes overflowing with a mix of leftover tears and absolute disbelief.

"How could you do that to me?" she whispered, her voice trembling but fierce. "For seven months, I thought you hated me. I thought you used me and left me after everything that happened between us. I ruined myself wondering where you went, and you just walk into my house like a stranger?"

I stayed completely calm, looking into the eyes of the person I had spent nearly a year planning to protect.

"I told you I was done with the chaos," I said softly. "Crossing those lines the way we did was a mistake, and it was destroying us. I wasn't going to look back until I could claim you the honorable way. I'm here now to fix it."

The last bit of her fury evaporated. The heavy armor she had built up over seven months of grieving me dropped completely. She sat down right next to me on the sofa, buried her face in her hands, and let out a quiet, relieved sob.

Slowly, she reached out and grabbed my wrist tightly the exact same way she used to when we worked together.

"Don't you ever dare vanish like that again," she whispered.

The power dynamic between us had shifted permanently. By having the strength to completely disappear, I broke the cycle, protected her honor, and rebuilt our future entirely on our own terms.
