New Shop Critique

Hi everyone! I’ve had my Etsy shop open for about 4 months and I’m looking for some genuine feedback on how I can improve my conversion rate.

I currently run Etsy Ads on and off, and I’m getting a decent amount of views and clicks, but I’m not seeing as many of those visits turn into sales as I’d like. I regularly research and update tags within my niche and try to add a couple of new listings each week. I know 4 months is still very new, so I’m trying to stay patient and consistent while figuring out what I can improve.

I sell handmade press-on nails, and I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
-My listing photos/overall presentation
-Whether my designs feel competitive within the press-on nail market
-Pricing and perceived value
-Anything about my listings or shop I that might make you hesitate to purchase
-Anything else you notice that could potentially be hurting conversions

I’m completely open to constructive criticism. I’d much rather know what I can improve than keep guessing!

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look!

Listing title suggestions

Hello everyone!! I’ve been selling on Etsy for a few months now. I noticed Etsy nudging me to change my listing titles. Is this something I should follow, or do I keep my original titles?

Trying to understand pricing in the press-on nail market

I’m curious how other press-on nail sellers are competing with the super low-priced shops right now.

I’ve been researching my market more lately, and I keep seeing insanely detailed sets selling for like $18–$20 with intricate nail art, chrome, 3D details, hand-painted looks, etc. Meanwhile, I’m pricing my handmade sets around $30–$35 and already feel like I’m pricing pretty fairly for the time/materials involved.

So now I’m genuinely wondering:
Are some of these shops using AI printing or some kind of nail printing machine/decals?
Are they outsourcing production?
Are they just operating on super tiny margins?
Or am I overestimating how long detailed sets should realistically take?

I’m not asking this in a judgmental way at all. I’m honestly trying to understand the market better because it’s hard not to compare when customers can visually see two “similar” sets at very different price points.
For sellers charging higher prices successfully:
How are you positioning your shop to compete? Branding? Quality? Content? Repeat customers? Better materials?
I’d really appreciate honest insight because I’m trying to figure out where the industry is heading and how smaller handmade sellers are adapting.

Hi everyone!

I opened my shop about a month ago and have 16 sales. I turned on etsy ads after about a week of opening and I found that ads were helping my sales a lot. I sell press on nails and in the last week bumped up my prices about $3-$5 per set. I also updated my photos to look more professional. I noticed since I've done this, my views went down slightly and my click rate went down tremendously, along with my sales. I currently have about 600 views for the day so far but 0 clicks which I find to be a little terrifying and odd. I've never had this happen before and I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen. I average about 15ish clicks per day. Can someone help me understand what's happening? Am I missing something?
