Be nice if you’re going to critique (bc this was so challenging!😂), but holy cow a new appreciation for Plein air after this am! It’s kinda stressful, but so rewarding! Happy to be apart of this group! Will be adding fine details later this week, and then it’ll be up at the St Charles Plein Air Exhibit on Sunday!
I painted this during the 2024 election, as we all were waiting (or maybe shutting out pants) to see what would be the turn out. I decided to name it “Cliffhanger”, what would be more fitting? And ended up selling it to a lovely Redditor / Stranger !
Thinking about making this a series, where the color blocks change and each piece has some sort of nautical - themed food or animal. What do you guys think?
Her patience for this blows my mind. I recently tried to get into cross stitch and only finished a few small projects, the scale and precision of these just blow my mind. This was for her husband who loved Chickadees, and she loved lilacs. It couldn’t be more perfect.
