so it still exists
all these decades later, can't believe I'm still seeing this thing again, last time I was here was 1999
friday porterhouse
perfectly nailed the strip and fillet, a little uneven, but so juicy, new shop I went to has some of the best quality meat I've ever had
can we do a score board of the most rediculous conditions we've put our cars through?
sometimes you just gotta grill
been using my gas grill again instead of the wood pellet, going old school of not using a wireless probe and going by an instant read
airshow saturday in chicagoland
Sigma SD-Quattro with an 18-35mm, just processed this image, couldn't tell you exactly what's in frame, but it has a radial
smoked and broiled tomahawk
I feel this is a decent medium/medium rare, it was pulled at 130F, reached up to 145F while resting. Gotta say with the fat dripping, there was a lot more of an inferno than I expected, not the best crust
a frame to be stuck on
the second to last disc for season 10 for my copy the box set has corruption in The Shroud, it cannot play past the 40 second mark of the episode and gets stuck either on this frame or 2 second earlier just as Vala hugs Daniel in the Last Time segment. Hitting skip as always, skips past the opening, I can rewind all the way back to 2:12, just as the one dude is talking about that The Ori belief has benefits. It might be an issue with my player though, poor thing gets used every single day specifically for watching SG1 for the last couple months
beef shank and mashed potato
beef shank was smoked for 1.5 hours at 225F, regular mashed potato
seasoned with a crap ton of black pepper, rosemary and salt, smoking this long gives it a really good texture for the most part, though I would reccomend going to around 2 hours so the fat renders more, though tendons won't break down
grass fed ribeye with a rub of black pepper, rosemary and salt, not as even as I hoped, but was still fantastic
