Lakers get young athletic PF (Lakers and hornets trade)

Lakers go a different direction than Kuminga and get former sixth pick Tidjane Salaün. Athletic 21 YO PF that can catch lobs from Luka and shot 43 percent from three next year. I think lakers (especially Luka and Reaves) could maximize him. He’s also big and long and mobile so he could be a good defensive 4 next to Kessler.

For the hornets you get more depth, a good defensive wing that could contribute more for them than Salaün will next year, and we know they’ve been interested in Knecht for a bit, maybe he could turn it around as well? Him and knuppel could definitely shoot the lights out if he’s a backup wing.

Darius Acuff Jrs first game in a Kings jersey

25 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and a win! Thoughts on his game? Thought he played well and his FG percentage was bad but he was missing shots he usually made and so many rimmed in and out

Maxime Raynaud ceiling?

I’ve seen a lot people say Maxime Raynaud had a good season, but his ceiling is lower due to being on a tanking team with a ton of shot attempts available, him being a older rookie, and him leaving a lot to be desired on defense in his rookie year.

What do you think his ceiling is? As a kings fan I’m really hopeful for him and he’s one of my favorite young players that I don’t think people talk about very much even though he was all rookie second team. I know center that isn’t a great shooter or rim protecter isn’t ideal, but his feel for the game offensively and touch around the basket was amazing this season, and the three point shooting wasn’t as bad as people say. Since the all star break he shot 39 percent from three on about 1 and a half attempts a game along with averaging 16 and 9, and yeah that’s very low volume but for a 7 footer having that in your arsenal can be valuable, I believe that if he gets rid of the hitch in his shot he can become a higher volume three point shooter just because of how much touch he has around the rim and the solid shooting numbers in college.

The defense definitely leaves a lot to be desired as he was not positive defensively at all this season despite being a 7 footer who moves well for his size, but the kings also uses him weirdly as a perimeter defender a lot because they were a heavy switching team in the second half of the year.

I’m just curious what everyone else thinks, like will be become another Eric Paschall, Chris Duarte kind of story or will he continue to improve and be a crucial piece to the kings future?

Can’t spell Kingston without Kings 🤷‍♂️

What are you guys thoughts on Kingston Flemings? Would you be happy if we got him?

I actually am a fan of his personally on the kings, he’s a good playmaker and great at these little bounce passes to bigs and I’d love to have him and Maxime together as a young PNR duo.

If you were tasked with adding Toho monster fan favorite Anguirus to the monsterverse, how would you do it? I know it’s unrealistic because of the asking price Toho would place on Anguirus but we haven’t seen a live action version of Anguirus since 2004 and with the monsterverse implementing sorta time travel I wonder if it’s possible we could see Anguirus. I think out of all the og monsters Anguirus has one of the highest chances at joining the monsterverse(which is still low) because they have teased a Anguirus-like skeleton before, and I thought they could set it up with the time travel and axis-Mundi.

My idea would be that he died fighting with Godzilla as an ally, but they open up a rift to try to find more radiation for Godzilla because all the current radiation is being used by a big bad villain. The contextual would be like in maybe monarch series or supernova where Godzilla is outclassed and they open a rift to try to find radiation to fuel Godzilla. Godzilla does his alpha call and then Anguirus appears through the rift similar to what titan X did in episode 1 of season 2. Then they have some wall paintings that explain they were allies in battle before.

How would you introduce Anguirus? Or if you managed MV movies, would you not even bother? Ik a lot of people thought he would show up at the end of Monarch season 2 instead of Rodan.

Is hard. I shouldn’t have had any hope anyway but it’s brutal because I Thought that they could set it up, with the Anguirus like skeleton and time travel I thought they could’ve brought back Anguirus through the rift. Genuinely don’t know if we will ever see a live action Anguirus again.
