Do you think that the "spice operation" in sly 2 was code for drugs?

It's something that has been on my mind a lot ever since I last replayed the sly cooper trilogy.

Do you think it was their way of keeping it PG, or just like... An interesting concept.

It seems like (to me at least) it was trying to look like LSD.

I suppose you could say it was a unique concept due to the plot of it being used to make clockwerk immortal, but curious to hear of what other people think.

Is my ksb fat?

I haven't posted Bellatrix in a long time. She's doing good... Possibly too good.

She had a pretty big growth spurt a couple months ago and acted like she was starving every 2 days. I bumped her up from fuzzy to hoppers. Today she was out sitting and I noticed she kinda has a double chin.

Is she fat? I thought she was normal, but idk. I almost feel terrible at the thought of putting her off food because around every 7-10 days when she's hungry she is HUNGRY. she went from being really shy and not wanting to come out, to actively hunting and reacting to any sounds knowing it might be her next meal.

I'm mainly just trying to keep her healthy. I figured she may just be a lil chubby and will grow into her weight. She's about 14 inches or so now. Maybe a fair but longer. I haven't measured her since I got her almost a year ago.

She kinda slowed down a little initially once she got moved to hoppers, but she's picking up again. Maybe she's gonna prove to be a big girl when she's an adult? Not too sure. Any input is appreciated.

I would image husbandry wouldn't cause this, but just in case, she's currently in a 36x12x12, humidity is 50%, her hot side is 94F, and her other side is room temperature.

She has plenty of hides, plants, and branches. Currently on a sand soil mix.

Slightly confused by response

Slightly confused by response. Maybe in the midst of work and stuff it's hard for me to understand. I know that the penalty was removed and they can't do anything about LP I know and understand why.

However, at the end, they say "it's best to play a game mode that won't penalize you if you can't finish"

AM I SUPPOSED TO JUST KNOW THE GAME IS GOING TO CRASH AND NOT REOPEN? It's just baffling to me. Like yeah, let me take 4+ years or whatever to become a developer that can debug and fix ur shitty ass client.

Maybe I'm acting manic, idk. Like, I get if I had incompatible hardware. I understand if I'm playing on a gtx 750 and an Intel Pentium running windows 8 32 bit I'm the problem. I'm running a 7800x3d and a 7900xt with 32 gb ram. I don't crash like this in other games. IM NOT THE PROBLEM

Does anyone else find it really hard to split push in low elo?

Hello, to give some context, I'm an emerald support/top main. When I play top, I just generally play illaoi, Warwick, or something like Naafiri in very niche situations.

However, I wanted to focus on top solely, so that's what I'm doing in my current grind. To kinda get to the main point of my question, I'll pick Yorick a fair bit. When I do, I feel like it breaks my teams brain every time plat and below... Even in emerald.

Like the idea of me going top, having 3 to stop me... They just don't do anything. I tried to figure out why, but my only guess is that this elo and below just doesn't understand macro.

I think it's a bit annoying I have to do this disclaimer every post, but here we go:

This is not my excuse to be hardstuck emerald. I understand that my consistency is key. I do have a positive winrate along with good winrate across my champion pool, so I know where I stand. I am not the best or being held back by my team by any means. This post is mostly just me trying to figure out if there's something I'm not doing.

You can say "emerald is low elo" and to some, yeah. There is a massive skill gap between emerald and diamond 2. However, being at top 9% or so shows you have a decent understanding of the game. Saying that it's low elo with 1k games in gold is copium.

Lastly and this is probably the more details everyone wants, this is my main play around things: when I play top, I play to pressure hard, but I also know when to be defensive. For example: unless it's something that can level 2 gank me, I shove lane or aim to by 3 minutes. After this, my strategy is to hold wave at the middle or let it push into me. The reason being, is because I've generally gotten the enemy top to a point of which I can kill them next trade and I know their jungle is likely around. I assume the jungler is until I'm shown otherwise. If I see him bot side or mid, that's my queue. If I don't see him at all, then I'll play depending on the matchup. If it's someone sneaky like shaco, I'm cautious as he may lane gank. Assuming all goes well, this is generally where I either have a kill lead and/or good CS lead.

From this point on, my goal is to try fight as much as possible with good CS. I'm just going to assume that this is a relatively well game where I'm ahead on Yorick or whatever and I now have mid, jg, in some cases support all looking at me. This doesn't bother me as I'm generally really good at watching the map. However, later into laning phase is where it starts to kinda.. well, fall apart. So let's assume I'm in the position of which I'm winning. I will play around timers. Example: I won't hard shove and pressure until Drake is 30 seconds to being up. If more than one person shows, I generally take the enemy jungles camps as they normally hold hands when farming top lane in case I circle back.

Even if my team is winning, I kid you not, they don't play the game. They sit back under towers and/or just hold hands in jungle. When I ask why, it's generally responded with "we need you, you won't group, laning phase is over, etc." I feel very confused to say the least. I understand that in some games I have to because we don't have a front line or whatever. Even when we do, they just refuse.

This isn't always the case, but it's sometimes even an issue in emerald, so I found the best solution is that I just can't build hullbreaker. Even if I'm pushing botlane, 5 people come botlane, maybe I take 1-2, they won't baron or push. Instead, I find them either trying to avenger or (and I'm sadly not kidding), fighting red buff together.

It kinda gets infuriating sometimes especially when the game is really REALLY linear and I can do this for free, but idk.. I never understood because when I play support, the enemy team doesn't do this. They actually play the game. So I'm just left wondering, is this a normal thing, or is there something wrong with what I'm doing? I don't mean for this to sound rude, but I'd appreciate responses from higher elo players than where I'm at.

I have friends in masters/GM that tell me that I should just adapt to what works because expecting your team to follow the script is like trying to teach a gold fish how to sit. I agree, but idk. Maybe it's what I get for ever picking these annoying champions

Genuine question for anyone that's had an account stolen/compromised; did the instantly start playing on the account?

Hello all, I want to mention here some foundation to the question to better discuss.

  1. I have noticed a lot of accounts that were in diamond+ who are spiraling down with a terrible winrate and have been doing so. I used to think these were bought accounts or someone else played them, but I'm starting to wonder if these were compromised.

  2. My point of this question isn't to verify my reason for being hardstuck emerald. I 100% acknowledge that I can still climb. However, that doesn't mean that the experience needs to be watching a gold or below player get nae nae'd hard by their opposing laner.

  3. My main reason for coming here is to possibly bring better awareness to the issue. I believe that if info was collected such as "did this login come from a different state, a different device, or possible that there is an existing ticket regarding this account being compromised?"

I'm starting to find it hard to believe that all of these players I see in emerald with a 45% winrate with a decent amount of games are all boosted/bought. In addition, their op.gg past seasons generally reflects way better numbers. Some of them even play the same champs they did awhile ago.

And I already know some people are going to be coming at it like "they just had a bad game, the other person was a Smurf, whatever." I agree to some extent this can be the case, but when they have a big backlog of games being played badly, I have to disagree.

Due to a rule on this sub asking not to directly link/shame people, I'm not posting an op.gg. however, I do have one. I want to express that I AM NOT SENDING/POSTING WITHOUT MOD APPROVAL. If you demand evidence, then reach out to a mod. Until I have approval to post the link, I have a screenshot of their name scribbled.

This account peaked masters and has gone down hill. I understand people can be rusty or washed, but nothing like this.

So for anyone who has had an account hacked/comprised, what did they do? I have a friend who had theirs hacked once and they only played 2 games with a friend who was on a masters account. They won one and lost the other. I didn't watch the replay, but they didn't seem to be doing anything crazy.

So it has me thinking that this is something that should probably be looked into given the amount of posts that seem to be on here with people blatantly trolling and accounts stolen.

Before immediately trying to play defensive about it, please consider that this post isn't meant to be-little or shame riot. While I do have negative opinions on the game and such, this post is not by any means relevant to that and only to spread awareness while possibly finding others who could share their experiences to possibly improve both their own security and riots.

Vanguard is not stable and logs need to be kept to verify crashes rather than punoshing you

So, I got really REALLY unlucky and had vanguard crash my entire PC and I had to reboot 2 times. The first time they ff'd, but I was able to get back right when the warning came up.

I want to clarify that I have not had this many crashes before till now. Even in previous updates it was very rare. Now, it's rare to not happen.

The worst part? I'm now put into 10 minute low priority all because of th client and the unstable anti cheat.

I understand why is this in place and all, but please PLEASE make this more stable. Since it's so invasive, just let it review logs and give forgiveness if there was a crash. 0 reason it can have kernal level and not be able to see it's not my fault I got disconnected

Does anyone else here have a rough scale boa that won't hunt, but will eat the mouse from your hand?

Hello, I have a rough scale boa named Razul.

She's not very old. Maybe a couple of months. I struggled for a bout 4 weeks to get her to eat. I did what I do for my kenyan sand boa I've had for almost 6 months now which was just warm and drop a frozen thawed. For her, she wouldn't go for it. Braining didn't work, which was how I got Bellatrix to eat her first time with me.

I saw videos of people on here holding their rough scales and they just gently take the mouse and do their thing. I did this for her and she did it. Unfortunately, my phone was dead and I couldn't get a photo.

I suppose if she isn't the only one it's fine, but can anyone else confirm? I figured she'd probably strike hard, but she was incredibly gentle.

Odd opinion I've developed where text chat should be removed.

Yeah, I'm sure some people will probably jump to say it's dumb, but hear me out.

Chat is probably one of the basic but problematic features in the game than some realize.

It can have good use, but as time has gone, I find it to be very rare.

Adjusting it seems to use a lot of resources. From managing trigger words, to having it tied to honor level, and really everything. There has been so much done to try and fix it's relation to toxicity which really has not done a lot.

If anything, I find that it just causes more problems than anything. People will get upset and type all game. Blaming jg or whoever else they can pin to the wall to themselves. Best part is, it seems like a fairly decent factor to how a game goes. The second someone's ego is hurt, they stop caring and just spam ff or soft int.

Since nobody can seem to handle what gets said and it feels like so many resources go into managing it, I vote to just call it quits.

I quit using it. Most of the time it's either nothing being said, or jg getting flamed for not babysitting them as they have a 47% winrate and can't win a lane that's in their favor.

Toxicity is just engraved in every completive game. I feel as though at minimum it should be removed from ranked or I suppose limit it to something like smite has. "Gank bot" "help" "attack" "attack toplaner" "enemy jungle on dragon" essentially enough communication to coordinate something, but not to the point where it's just arguing.

Maybe not the right forum, but I wanted to make a post that actually thanks riot for 26.10 patch.

Sincerely, THANK YOU for taking more action on disruptive gameplay. I cannot tell you how many games get ruined because of people's ego.

Perhaps I'm speaking too soon, but today I had someone essentially trying to lose us the game. He got upset because jungle took kill, flash barrier under tower, and then proceeded to just sit under tower all game.

We managed to win, but he got punished for not playing the game with us and making it way harder than it needed to be.

I'll be honest, this is late as hell. However, I'm just happy it's finally being taken more seriously
