I'll be heading down to Brighton at the end of the month, for Nick Cave and was hoping to fit this in as well. Does anyone know if it still runs when there's been events on in Preston Park, or is the route blocked off?
My (23F) cousin (28F) is getting married in about 2 weeks. Let's call her Miranda. Her fiancé (28M), who we'll call Jonas, has only met our family once during the summer of 2024, to announce their engagement. We originally weren't very impressed but hey it's her life and we weren't in a position to tell Miranda that Jonas seemed kinda weird.
Last month, due to a family member not responding to the RVSP, Jonas called my mom and I while we were driving to uninvite us, insult us and threaten us if we dared to come to the wedding.
We were like woah hold on dude, we ever spoke to you for like 2 hours in our entire life so wtf, don't talk to us like that. But fine, we cancelled the arrangements we had and went on with our life.
The one thing that made us worry was the possibility of verbal, financial and physical abuse that Jonas may have been inflicting to Miranda.
But tonight something changed, as I stumbled across Jonas' Instagram profile. I didn't have any friends in common with him so it was highly unlikely. I was curious, looked at it and to my utter surprise, the profile was public. I took a look at the followers' list, nothing crazy, just 4 people, my cousin, his mom and 2 friends. Then I took a look at the followed accounts. And oh boy was I not ready for what stood there : 2 comedy channels, and not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 porn/OF girls. Miranda, his fiancée, was nowhere to be seen among his followed accounts.
Now, in itself, this doesn't seem that bad, but Miranda comes from a very traditional Catholic family, their wedding mass will be in Latin, and most importantly Jonas got baptized literally LAST YEAR. His account was created in october of 2024, so after they got engaged, and bro decided to follow almost exclusively gooner content xD
I can't with this guy
Already ever since the call and the threats I had an urge to crash their wedding and force my cousin to cancel it. But now that I have screenshots and proofs that not only he is verbally abusive but also a gooner who got baptized only to get my cousin to agree to marry him, I want to doxx him so bad to my entire extended family... Or go to the event in 2 weeks and give the screenshots to his mom and dad before the altar.
