Lol as crazy or not it sounds he is.
The first time I heard about it was from my cousin when one day we are having a discussion abt astronomy because that's my die heart topic I can say I'm very passionate abt anything that touches science, astronomy, nasa and space in general becauseI studied alot it. So he told me that when my uncle came bck from Burkina Faso he apparently started believing the earth is flat and we are been lied to by the "them"
The day I finally had to meet him bck and we where basically living in the same quarter that I saw that is wasn't a lie that he was a flat earth and not just that alot like rlly alot more conspiracy(ofc moon landing are fake, lizard people are real, stars are been cloned and many many more..) so literally everyday he try convincing me abt it but still I knew alot abt those stuff and everytime he came to be with evidence that proves it I always debunk it and if not I just do a 5 sec Google search to show him how dumb that it but still he never seem to change even a bit he just continue coming everyday with "video proves" or suspicious quotes from nasa apparently that proves they are lying to us, but after abt some little research found out those where either ai/edited or taken out of context sence or speech and this just brought me into a deep rabbit hole of debunking( shout out to professor Dave for those who know ) with all proves been debunked each time and never showing a work model of the flat earth that predict future events like that round earth does with they alway fails too have and flat earth community on fb and yt(they are all always in their 30ths btw) and how insanely dumb they are but I do wanna say I understand how they reach that point but still thinking they are superior to us "sheeps"(that's actually how they call us lol ) who all think that earth is a round(spheroid) is crazy
They are too much detail and stuff to talk abt but let just say since then it was rlly a pain to talk to him because every conversation we have always led to him try to convince be abt all this conspiracy
To this day he still send me facebook videos of scamy creators who literally lies to their audience for views
So yaa my uncle is still and I think will still be a flat earther no matter what happens he reach a point of no return...

Well I already know why but I just wanna know u guys point of view cus I'm not rlly in main side of the cameroon trends and other stuff but I notice this trend on my feed a few weeks go, I already knew using ai to generate slop image was already very accepted here even tho alot didn't even know it was ai neither cus they where just kids and old people or the post not saying it ai generate even do it was quite obvious but comments always make me think that we are so doomed, which was just funny at first seeing people fall for seeing ai generate img cus the main posts I saw where from kids and old people on Facebook but this trend had grown adults and youths doing it and asking for the prompt in the comments and asking what type of "application" was used to do it
At this point even big companies used it without problem and no one saying a word abt it well yaa it save them money ig
But when I saw in the official news that there was an official institution that was offering ai formation for youths I was happy abt it thinking it they will be like training them to like code their small ai models and learn more abt programming but it was a formation camp to learn how to use and do the prefect prompts for chat gpt I was just laughing lol
They are alot of other stuff abt the use of AI slop in alot more types in the cameroon but I will keep it this and see what u guys think abt it...
so i created this discord a very long while ago which is the time i rlly got into discord cus i became a chronically online degenerate lol so i told maybe i can create a discord server where the very low discord user base in cameroon can all meet so i started sharing to whatsapp groups(which now i hate using whatsapp btw its so overrated) and all but it seem like they didnt want to leave they little whatsapp "ecosystem" to discover all the features discord had to offer which just piss me off, a few people from my close friends join and even created an account to try but they mostly after 2 days gave up and never came online anymore so the server just died so recently i remember maybe i can post abt it here still i have been seeing rlly open minded post on here so i said why try again...
