Am I doing something wrong
Genuinely need to get this off my chest. For reference I'm Asian and live in a house in North Campus.
I parked in front of my house after getting food just now. I ALWAYS lock my car until I hear exactly 3 beeps, and as I was walking away this sophomore or junior-ish looking lightskin dude was walking by across the street and started shouting "You dont have to lock your car 100 times just bc a black guy's walking past". I tried to explain I always do that and to calm him down (because he's yelling at me in front of my own house), then he starts going "okay chink, ching chong ling long fucking chink", something about eating noodles, and when I try to say something he starts just going "lalalala ching chong lalalalala" and walks away.
Dude looked perfectly normal and I feel like I've even recognized him from campus before. This is the 3rd time I've ever experienced racism on/near campus. Very surprisingly, they were all from black men. I don't know why or what I'm doing wrong and what I should be doing differently.
