ZRA Allied With Military Junta

The Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) has shown that they officially allied with the junta regime forces in the attacks against the Chin armed groups in Tongzang town, located in northern Chin state of Myanmar.

Junta-affiliated media outlets have published images depicting ZRA military personnel and junta soldiers celebrating their joint achievements following the retreat of the Chin anti-junta resistance forces from Tongzang town as a result of intense bombardment and the substantial ground forces deployed by both the junta army and the ZRA.

[I can't wait to seee these idiots receive the TNLA treatment once they are no longer useful to the Junta, let us wait and see.]

Economic situation of the NUG/SCEF

Does anyone here know how the economy of the territories under the national unity government/scef is doing? I always was curious of how the economics of this war differs between the military junta and the nug. I don't know if the nug is able to print their own kyats, and wouldn't it still be tied to the military junta's kyats in terms of value, at least in the eyes of international markets?

Shwebo PDF captures police station in Depayin

May 19, 2026

Shwebo District People’s Defense Force (PDF) announced on Monday it had captured a police station in Depayin Township, Sagaing Region after two days of fighting. Around 60 PDF fighters took part in the assault on Saipyin Police Station, killing 11 regime troops and police, according to the group.

Depayin has long been a target of junta airstrikes, which have killed hundreds of civilians. The township has suffered some of the regime’s deadliest attacks on schools. The junta’s deliberate bombings of Let Yet Kone and O Htein Twin villages killed dozens of children.

Sagaing Region remains one of the fiercest battlegrounds in Myanmar’s resistance war, with the military relying heavily on air power to try to crush local defense forces.

The revolution might have suffered setbacks in the last few weeks, but it is far from losing! I implore our international allies to help support the revolution by checking out this facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1JSU45k31w/

Myanmar Humanitarian Crisis Appeal

National Unity Government of Myanmar

Since the military coup in February of 2021, Myanmar humanitarian crisis has become the worst in its history.

Due to the inhumane attacks by Myanmar Military to its own civilians, about 1.9 million people have lost their homes, taking cover from artillery shelling, and staying in jungles as of 15 July 2023 and the figure is expected to increase with ongoing violence of Military.

UNOCHA estimates that some 17.6 million people, nearly one third of the population, are to be in humanitarian need in 2023. UNOCHA requests US$764 million to reach 4.5 million people prioritized for life-saving humanitarian support.

Humanitarian actors including UN and INGOs are facing serious access challenges due to the restriction and denial of humanitarian access by the tyrannical military junta.

Our ministry has been tirelessly working to provide humanitarian aid to those who need it most through local partners and courageous volunteers on the ground with public donations. However, the gap in the required funding is very massive and there is still an enormous number of people who are in critical need of assistance. So, we need your support and please donate now if you can.

How will your donation help people in Myanmar?

Your donation could help

- Food and shelters for internally displaced people

- Civil servants who are involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement

- Vulnerable groups of people including women, children, people with disabilities

- Families of those who were killed by military Junta

- Injured civilians due to the attacks of military

- Political Prisoners
