I have a memory (I think a real one) of some U2 song in which Bono says or sings “And if we slip, let’s enjoy the slide,” but I can’t remember what it’s from. I have the feeling that it was maybe done in a live performance rather than a recorded version. Does anyone else know what this might be?

For anyone who has taken the OSCE and gotten a viva, do you know if they are only going to give you that chance if the item missing was a critical fail? I took my OSCE yesterday, and the examiner gave me what felt like a viva prompt (something like, ‘I would like you to reflect and see if you might have missed something in clinical education for the patient.’) I could not place what I missed, and ended up just reiterating things I had already said. I now looked it up and know what I missed. Do we think that was probably a critical fail? 😓🫣😭

Okay guys, this heat is killing me. I’m an international student here for a bit, and neither my accommodations nor the school have air con. I know this is very standard for Europe, but I’m having a beastly time studying and concentrating when I’m just dripping all day. Besides the odd coffee shop, are there any areas (especially helpful if they are near the Market) where I can post up for a bit with internet access and some tables? Does the library have air con? Thanks for any help.

I am training for my first marathon (yay), and I have noticed an unexpected physical occurrence…which is that during or immediately following my long runs, I will have some crazy-thick vaginal discharge. It’s completely clear and doesn’t seem like any sort of infection or anything, but it’s so bizarre. It’s just this huge, sticky blob that comes out either during the run, or sometimes when I’m showering afterwards.

Has anyone else had this happen, or know what’s physically going on? I’m not worried, more just perplexed.

I’m going to be staying in Romford for a couple weeks this summer. I’ll be there for a class, but it’s falling in the middle of my marathon training plan. Are there any especially nice spots in that area in which I could put in a good number of miles?

I’m training for a race next year, and it has some major downhill sections. Does anyone know if there is a gym in the Yakima or even Tri Cities area that has one of those rare treadmills that actually slants down?
