Wiring Harness Reroute

I was trying to reroute my wiring harness but after trying to unplug the connectors for a while had no luck, I was wondering if there was a certain type of shop I could pay to do it for me or if anyone on here in FL would be willing to do it?

Head unit Speaker Whine

Anyone know why I might be getting a whining/humming sound after installing a double din head unit? I’m assuming it’s something to do with the alternator/ground as it gets louder the more gas I give it. I used the metra wiring harness and it was a Sony XAV-AX3200.

Low Pressure AC Port

Anyone know where the low pressure ac port is on a 92 sc300 for recharging the r12 ac? I tried the on under the intake but my hose fitting doesn’t fit and i saw people say there was one closer to compressor but wasn’t sure where.

15 or 25% window tint

I was looking to get my windows tinted and wanted to get %20 but the place I wanted to go to only has 15 or 25 so was wondering if anyone has 15% and how much it affects your vision at night.

Window Tint

Would anyone here be that has tinted windows/windshield be able to send a pic of what it looks like and what percent they have? I’m was looking to get 35% on windshield and 20% everywhere else but the place I was looking at only has 15 or 25, not 20 so I’m debating between the two.

Is this safe to do

I’m trying to remove stock struts but change get enough clearance to take them out, some people recommended spring compressors and I was wondering if this is the right way to do it?
Manual 1992 Lexus SC300

Update: I’ll probably do what most ppl recommend and just take the upper control arms off and order new ones if I need to. For those confused why I was doing this (which I probably should’ve put in post), I’m replacing my strut/shock with coilovers and needed to get the oem ones out but didn’t have enough clearance and wanted to leave the uca in if possible to avoid breaking thing. The reason I went this route was bc other ppl had done and recommended it as a way to get them out easier.

Front Strut Removal

I’m trying to remove my front struts so I can add coilovers, but am having trouble getting the strut out. Do I need to remove the upper control arm or anything else or should I be able to wiggle the strut out with just the strut bolts and sway bar end link removed?

Wiring harness tuck

I’m lowering my car in coilovers soon but not slamming or anything crazy, would I be good with just tucking my wiring harness deeper into the fender closer to the engine bay instead of having to fully relocate it?

Tein or BC coilovers

I was looking to get either tein ($800) or BC ($1200) coilovers and was leaning towards the tein but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with either of these? Also it’s the tein flex Z I was looking at.

Ecu or Headgasket

Recently my 1992 sc300 with 190000 miles has been having some issues, primarily with causing a constant stream of white smoke out the exhaust that smells like fuel. I think it’s either the head gasket or ecu, and was wondering how I could narrow it down? (Oil and coolant also look fine)

White smoke/Head Gasket

I recently got a completely stock sc300 with 190000 miles, and a couple days after getting it it started making constant white smoke out the back. It smells like fuel when running and so does the dipstick, there is also no oil in coolant or coolant in the oil. How possible is it that this is a head gasket issue?

Head unit replacement

Anyone have experience replacing the stock head unit with an aftermarket double din one, if so how hard would it be for someone to do with little prior experience. (1992 with 6 disc cd changer in trunk)

Help with ecu

Can anyone tell if the ecu looks bad or not, I don’t really see anything near the capacitors and the only thing I see is some black stuff in between the left pair of 3 rectangles below the capacitors.

Help with white smoke

I recently got a 1992 sc300 with 190000 miles, and it drove fine the first couple of days I had it. I recently noticed a constant stream of white smoke coming out of my exhaust as well as a strong smell of gas. The smoke stays and doesn’t go away, my coolant and oil looks normal and I checked that my power steering acs wasn’t leaking int my intake. I’m starting to think it may be my ecu but was wondering if I should take a look at my spark plugs first, even though they were just replaced. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
