I was talking to him about robotics and stuff my seniors told me to try in first sem. I told him Ill be doing a minor in mechanical engineering probably too. He said he will pass chemical with 9 cgpa and also will do CS minor and do freelancing in robotics. Obviously he is an idiot here....1 month ago he was planning for PHD 1 week ago he was planning for placements and now planning for masters in robotics.

Maine keh diya gandu harkate mat kar chemical mein hai to wo padhle nahi to placement bhi nhi lagegi aur kuch nhi seekh payega direction itni baar change nahi karte.

Yeh sunkar why NITK is worse than IIT par bhashan de diya aur mazak uda diya. ab to mann ho rha hai lodu ko expose kardu...uska JM ka score card hai mere paas. Bhadwa Japan jata hai ghumne kaha se EWS ho gaya

Mai to NIT isiliye ja rha hu kyuki gen 3 IITs se achhe robotics lab hai waha par aur gen 2 mein mujhe electrical mil bhi nhi rha

Just sayin...ik its an unpopular opinion.

You cant get any good electronics like laptop or phone, cant go out w your friends, cant afford any trips, cant find a date, cant go to a private college even if its one of the best pvt. College in india like IIITB/H etc etc.

Life may get better after college but being poor just destroys the fun in everything lol...you are just rotting in your bed cause going out is expensive and you see all your friends' pics on instagram which makes you really sad and jealous.

Sirf padhai hi thodi hai life mein. There is more to it but unfortunately you wont be able to enjoy it

Quitting 6-7 wasn’t something I could do overnight. I tried the cold turkey approach more times than I can count, but 6-7 always found its way back into my routine. It had become such a normal part of my day that cutting it out completely felt impossible. so I stopped trying to win the whole battle at once. Instead, I started weaning myself off 6-7 little by little. Less today than yesterday. Less this week than last week. Some days were easier than others, and some days I slipped up, but the overall trend was moving away from 6-7.

Looking back, quitting 6-7 taught me that progress doesn’t always have to be dramatic. Sometimes success is just consistently taking smaller steps in the right direction. I couldn’t quit 6-7 cold turkey, but by gradually reducing it, I eventually got to a point where it no longer controlled my day. What seemed impossible at first became manageable, one small adjustment at a time.

One of my old friends is going to Christ uni Bangalore campus. I got to know about it from his insta. This is the first time Ive heard about this uni.

1. Is this just an engineering college or is it like DU with mixed subjects and all?
2. I saw a few posts here saying its strict...well what kind of strict? Do you have curfews or something like VIT type colleges?
3. What tier is this college?

Shouldnt be too heavy like CODM and all
