I am very excited and hope this is the start to a long career for me.

I am a level 2 millwright any tips?

I was working a shut down at a mine, I saw another millwright and got to talking to was working for a private company and he asked me and I said I was with the union he fully looked disgusted and turned his back on me saying he wants nothing to do with a union millwright.

I did not know there was so much hate for unions. Why the hate?

TLDR: I am in a local millwright union and a nonunion millwright showed a lot of distain for the fact I was part of a union

It is not 100% finalized but I am near the end of the process of joining my local millwright union as a second year

I have been used to primarily factory work, so I am used to having a big cart,

I was giving a tool list but how do I carry everything do I do pack out. They have “tool box” listed but do I do a cart, backpack or duffel bag
