Upside: 30/20 feels amazing, Downside: I was forced to use a chain tensioner

No matter what I did it was half a link off, which was annoying but I guess the tensioner is a good idea for MTB anyway. Disappointed in the Salsa Alternator 2.0, it was basically useless for chain tensioning and I don't really feel like spending $85 for the sliding dropouts (at least for now). Surprised at how big a difference it was going from 30/18 to 30/20, looking forward to a proper shakedown this weekend!

First Rip On My Newly Converted Timberjack

I had a 30/18 gear ratio, chain is a little loose, didn't come off or anything but it was hitting the frame a tad. Gonna try a 30/20 for a little easier climbing (not many flats here in Western NC) and hopefully that'll help with chain tension! Otherwise it was an absolute blast!

Converted my Poseidon X to Single Speed

Managed a no-tensioner setup which is awesome! I'm running a 40/18 gear ratio. I love how light this thing feels without an 11 speed cassette in the back! Tires are Panaracer Gravelking 700x40. Can't wait to hit some gravel!

Is it me?

Or is the Micro Draco just not a great plane? I am having a lot of trouble with this thing. Maybe I bought it too early, or maybe it was just set up very poorly at the factory. I got it from a local hobby shop and flew it for the first time today and it was horrendous. I feel like if a plane is good it should be able to fly hands off but if I take my hands off the sticks for a second it's anyone's guess what it'll do. Maybe it's the servos, maybe I needed mechanical trim but it just flies like crap. I'm fighting it constantly. Sometimes it flies to the right, sometimes to the left, sometimes it'll just randomly pitch up aggressively and go vertical. I took it to a baseball field today after some sketchy take offs and landings in my yard (it's a pretty decent sized yard) and it randomly went vertical after takeoff so I brought the flaps up to power out of it and it immediately stalled and dropped a wing. It might be me but after a bunch of hours in the sim and a bunch of successful flights with my sport cub s2 I feel like I should be able to fly this thing in a big field. $220 is a lot of money for something that flies like crap. Is it me or is it a bad plane? Or did I just get unlucky with quality control?

New Wheel Day!

Raceline 131s Evo wheels in 18x7.5! Lost about 3.5 lbs per corner of rotational weight and I love how they look! I will likely use the original wheels for winters. The previous owner clearly loved hitting curbs and potholes because the wheels that came on the car were pretty banged up.

Anyone ever run into this before? 2018 Mazda3 GT

Just got home for my lunch break and when I shut my door I noticed the key lock kinda moved a little. I pulled on it and this happened. My door still locks and unlocks fine with the button on the fob but this can't be safe lol. Any advise? I am still in my 100 day Carvana warranty but their "preferred providers" are random mechanic shops, not sure I would want to have this dealt with anywhere but a dealership.

Obligatory Champion Post

This game was so much fun! I really enjoyed basically everything about it! Was really focusing on using a team of pokemon that I have not really used before (except Dragalge)! The story was the first out of all the games that I actually read through! Thank you devs!

Update to my previous post

Got some quarter inch plywood and some rug liner and fashioned up a trunk floor to go under my mat. Things are no longer sinking into my spare tire! Before and after photos attached!

What am I missing here?

Got this 2018 Mazda 3 used recently and I know I'm missing something in my trunk. All that's there is a floor mat. When you put anything in the center it falls into the spare tire. There has to be a hard piece that goes here right?! Please help! What do I even order? I can't find it in any of my research.

Scored a 2018 Grand Touring From Carvana!

She's a beaut. Haven't gotten to get many miles in yet but from what I've done she handles like an absolute dream. Loving the bolstered seats and the steering feel! Also a major upgrade from my previous vehicle that took premium and got 18mpg at the best of times. First order of business when I got home was removing the front plate holder 🤮. Really glad my state only requires rear plates!
