10thie here ! Had a doubt watching Mathematical Tools lecture 11 by ABJ sir

Here he said the dy/dx= delta y/delta x as delta x approaches zero
By this logic, he cancelled the term delta x in the numerator and got the answer as 2x
But if in the denominator, delta x tends towards 0 then how can he obtain the answer as 2x
As, the denominator would be zero and anything divided by zero is not defined.

EDIT- THE DOUBT HAS BEEN CLEARED, THANK YOU

Bench press doubt- form and PR

Guys I’m 6’1” but and I’m a teen.
My arms are long and whenever I go for a bench press PR, I can’t bring the bar fully down to touch my chest. It’s always a little above that range. Would you guys count it as a PR or no ?

Uni-ball MFB - a review

Parts-

  1. Writing experience

  2. Grip

  3. Build quality

  4. MFB vs. B-RT

  5. Writing Experience
The writing experience of this pen is truly remarkable for ₹20. The tip size is closer to 0.5-0.6mm rather than 0.7mm.
The pen has a slightly less dark shade of ink when compared to the B-RT
    For the price, it’s 10/10

  6. Grip
The grip is comfortable but I find that it can rotate easily. It makes it very weird to use, though it is not a big issue and it can be overlooked.
    Overall a 7/10

  7. Build Quality
The build quality of this and the B-RT both are good for their price. But I think the B-RT is better constructed. Or atleast feels that way.
    7/10

4.MFB vs B-RT
After using B-RT for a long time and trying out MFB, I can confidently say that the MFB is better. Why ? Because it solves a HUGE issue which the B-RT had
That is- Ink Blobbing and the change of the ink shade from darker to lighter with time.
The B-RT has a poorly designed nib which blobs almost always and always gives an impression to the other side of the page. It’s ink shade also becomes lighter with use. This is not the problem with the MFB

Summary-
Though the MFB lacks behind the B-RT in feel and grip, I think that it’s much better than the B-RT in terms of writing experience and that’s why I would always prefer the MFB over the B-RT

Stationary shopping recommendations

Guys, I’ll be going on a stationary shopping spree after a very long time
Please recommend me some great items to get
Criterias-

  1. Shouldn’t be anything OG like uniball or Pentel or Trimax
I am a pen veteran and have tried tons of pens in the market

I WISH FOR HIDDEN GEMS or some new launches which are genuinely worth trying out.

2.No fountain pens please
3. No useless gimmicky or ‘aesthetic’ product. I value functionality over design anyday.
4. (Optional) Would fit in easily with my schedule as a student who mostly does P,C and M

For some reason, I have stopped using my fountain pens (please help)

Guys, recently I noticed that I have started using basic gel pens and ball pens much more than my fountain pens.
I think it’s because of my shift in needs.
I now want a pen which I can throw directly in my bag, can open and start writing with it anywhere and it has a comfortable grip (not too thick) and the pen should be light enough to write fast with.
I feel that all my fountain pens will soon go vain. And I am yet to finish two full bottles of iroshuzuku 😭

Guys can you please help me find a fountain pen which writes really well, F nib available and I can just throw it around without having to worry about it getting damaged.
Avoid any chinese pens from Jinhao or Moonman as I’ve not had good experiences with them.

Ask me for a review on any pen (I’ll speak ABSOLUTE BRUTAL TRUTH)

Write the name of the pen you’re thinking of buying or a pen that you love and would like to listen to my opinion. I’ll give you a very short review which will be ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL. I’m very picky when it comes to pens, so there’s a high chance I might not like your pen. (All for fun, pls don’t take it srsly)

Book recommendations for 10th grader (aspiring for JEE)

I am a 10th grader and I am planning to finish a few of 11th P,C,M topics in class 10th itself.
I have joined a coaching but I can’t completely rely on them for my 11th course completion and wish to self study, both through books and lectures
Can you recommend me books for Maths, Physics and Chemistry
Which I can solve after self studying from lectures.
I DO NOT WANT THE BOOK WITH TOUGHEST ADV LVL QUESTIONS
I just want a book to practice questions to gain knowledge and confidence.
A book which is divided into sections and has graded question difficulty will also work
Eg. The book segregates the questions on basis of difficulty.
(Also, I have completed my 10th PCM syllabus and yes I touch grass, not those robot wala baccha type😭✌️)

What’s your opinion on Student Yard ?

I started watching him 3-4 years ago

I think he made great informative videos back then but now it’s all just gimmicky product promotion.

He now NEVER criticises ANY pen like he used to before because most of it is sponsored.

Got so bored of Pens that I had to get a mechanical pencil

Writes faster than some of my fountain pens from TWSBI and Pilot 😭

u/Designer-Zebra-7285 — 14 days ago

Genuinely how do you guys like this pen ????

Weird grip design, always feels like it gigs through my fingers because of the evident ‘notch’ which separates the body from the grip of the pen.

Terrible writing experience, always skips whenever I start writing (I have bought 5+ such pens and they all did the same)

Mid ink flow, there are pens which do it better

I see it get a lot of love from ppl on this sub so decided to share my POV
