What’s the weather like for this upcoming week? I see rain on the forecast, not sure how accurate that is?

Hi all, I am staying at Marriott los suenos this upcoming weekend. Can anyone share what the weather is like? I see rain every day.. and if so, what is there to do when it is raining all day every day?

I’m hoping someone can explain this to me like I’m 5 because I’m still trying to learn about investing.
I’m a NYC teacher and started contributing 10% to the Roth option through TRS in January. I understand that money comes out of my paycheck, but I’m confused about how it actually grows. Does it only grow because I’m continuously contributing from each paycheck, or does the money also earn investment returns on its own over time? If it does grow on its own, where can I actually see that growth? Is there a place in the TRS account that shows how much I’ve contributed versus how much it’s earned?
I’m also thinking about opening a Roth IRA in addition to my TRS Roth. For those of you who have both, would you recommend it? If you were just starting out like I am, what would you do differently or focus on first?
