How are some people able to grow such long beautiful hair while others can barely grow hair past their shoulders?

Why is this? Some people can grow hair way past their bums. Hair flowing in the wind. Meanwhile there’s people like me whose hair refuses to grow a couple inches past the shoulders. Does it have more to do with genetics, diet, or a combination of both?

New to Bloodlines (1994) and don’t know what I’m doing

Hello! I’m new to this subreddit and still fairly new to the Castlevania games. I’m currently playing Bloodlines on my Switch and I can’t get past the first level to save my life. I even set the difficulty to easy since I’m new. For starters, do you recommend playing as John or Eric? I’ve tried both and have a hard time no matter which one I play as. Also, the first boss gives me an absolute FIT! The demon screecher as I call it. How are you supposed to dodge the broken glass?? This looks like a fun game but omg it’s so hard 😅

Customer impossible to get a hold of regarding cake order.

I say impossible because the call went straight to voicemail and I can’t leave a message because her voicemail box is full. I have no other way to get a hold of her. I tried calling her because she wants a complicated design on her cake and I can’t do it. If I do, it will come out looking like crap. I still haven’t heard back from her, so I’ll try calling again later and if she still doesn’t answer, I don’t know what else to do. I guess I’ll have to listen to her scream and yell when she goes to pick it up tomorrow. Well Karen, if you deleted your voicemails, I would have been able to let you know via voice message that I can’t do the design on your cake and asked what you want me to do instead. Don’t get me wrong, I want her to have a birthday cake for her 5 year old, but there’s only so much I can do for people who won’t answer their phone AND have a full voicemail box. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just want to know if I did the right thing.

So I’m a cake decorator at a grocery store and my edible image printer was having technical problems. One customer placed an order for two cakes with edible images on top. I’m no artist so there’s no way I was going to draw the image she wanted on the cake. I called the customer and left a message two times and she would not answer the phone. I still didn’t get a call back from her before my shift was over, so I left a note for the department manager saying that I couldn’t make her order due to technical difficulties and that I tried calling her two times and didn’t get an answer. Did I do the right thing? I know not having her order will leave her scrambling, but I didn’t know what else to do. I did my part by trying to call her. Twice.

Grocery store decorators: anyone else having issues with their Photocake printers?

Mine has been giving me an absolute fit the past couple days. It will not print at all. The screen will say it’s printing and then a couple seconds later it will say it’s out of paper. Anyone else having this issue or is mine just defective?

Pickering Creek in Talbot County

Hiked here for the first time with my best friend who is from the area and really enjoyed it. It’s so beautiful.

I’m so jealous of wealthy people who make $100K or more a year and don’t have to worry about struggling. The price of basic necessities is out of control and it’s stupid how expensive gas is (I hate you, MAGA). I have goals in life and I feel so stuck because I can barely get by. I can’t even get ahead. I’m nearly 30 and feel so behind in life. I don’t know what to do.

I have a 2024 Malibu and I want to make the ol bowtie logos on the front and rear purple. How would I go about doing that? I tried doing it before and failed because it was so hard to do.
