After the last update, the vehicle port now gets highlighted, and a pop-up says VEHICLE PORT RECLAIM and spits out data circuits. All I wanna do is level out the ground around it so I can set up my new base. The flatten tool no longer shows when I point it at the vehicle port. So I can't flatten the ground under the main body and the angle of the ramps.

I really hate this update. Can't use the ports anymore for a base, the cursor is a micro dot on the screen, and I have seen portals float in the air.

I can use the DVI port, but if I do, I will not be able to see the BIOS bootup on my old PC.

So my copy is from the Microsoft Store. Everything was running fine till someone said the game had a patch from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Astroneer/comments/1thl4eg/comment/omovl1v/?context=3

I guess Microslop won't update the game on my PC. I was running v1.34.47.0, Last updated 2025-08-02, so the only way I was able to update was to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

Anyway, after doing that, I was able to see the game start logo changed and some differences.
I ignored the game till today (Current version now is 1.40.3.0)
First, I noticed the cursor is extremely small. It's a tiny dot and no longer the typical cursor.

Since I am running the Microsoft Store version of Astroneer WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini does not exist in this directory, and even adding it to restore the cursor did not work. But I found out the game has another major problem. Saves no longer save.

When the game saves, and I load from my save, what I previously did is not there.
So now the cursor is impossible to see, and the game no longer saves.
Now, after reinstalling again, all my saves are gone. I think this is the point to say I am done with this game.
