Looking for honest feedback on my developer portfolio

Hey everyone 👋

I recently finished updating my personal developer portfolio and would love to get some honest feedback from the Reddit community.

I’m an MCA student and full-stack/mobile developer, and I’ve tried to use the portfolio to showcase my projects, skills, and the things I’ve been building.

🔗 Portfolio: :https://dhruvbhavsar1.github.io/Portfolio

I’d especially like feedback on:

- 🎨 Overall UI/design

- 📱 Mobile responsiveness

- 🧭 Navigation & UX

- 💻 How well the projects are presented

- 📝 Anything that feels unnecessary or missing

Don’t hold back — I’m looking for genuine criticism so I can improve it.

Thanks! 🙌

Would a Flutter iOS readiness checker be useful?

I'm a Flutter developer who mainly works on Windows.

One problem I've run into is that iOS-specific issues are often discovered very late in the process when using cloud testing services, a physical iPhone, TestFlight, or during App Store preparation.

Sometimes the issue is something simple like:

- Missing permissions

- Info.plist configuration

- Podfile configuration

- Plugin compatibility

- iOS build settings

I'm considering building an open-source tool called Flutter iOS Check.

The idea is to scan a Flutter project and identify potential iOS-related issues before developers spend time on cloud testing or real-device testing.

The goal is NOT to replace iPhone testing.

The goal is to catch common iOS issues earlier and provide warnings or suggestions.

I'm still validating the idea and wanted to ask:

Would a tool like this be useful to you?

What checks would you want it to support?

Beginner mobile developer seeking guidance on iOS app distribution

I am a beginner mobile application developer working on a charity app.

I understand that Android applications can be distributed relatively easily, but I am trying to learn more about iOS app distribution.

I have noticed that some applications seem to be installable on iPhones without being available through the App Store. I am interested in understanding the technologies and distribution methods that make this possible.

Could someone explain the available options for an independent developer, the requirements involved, and any limitations or costs associated with each approach?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a small side project recently and wanted to share it here to get some honest feedback.

I kept running into the same issue missing important calls and messages because my phone was on silent or buried under too many notifications.

So I decided to try building something to fix that.

I made a simple Android app that lets you mark certain contacts as “priority,” so their notifications can bypass silent / DND mode.

I’m still a student and learning, so it’s definitely not perfect, but it’s something I built to solve a real problem I personally faced.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback:

Does this sound useful?

What features would you add or change?

Is there a better way to solve this problem?

If anyone’s interested, I can share the GitHub repo in the comments.

Thanks for reading
