Looking for recommendations for a reliable corded vacuum cleaner under ₹30k for non-techy family.

Hey everyone, looking for recommendations for a reliable corded vacuum cleaner under ₹30k for a non-techy family. We want something easy to use and durable with strong suction + good after-sales service/customer care in major Indian cities.

Main use cases:

- Everyday sweeping/dust cleaning

- mopping support

- Deep cleaning sofa, mattress & furniture

- Balcony/vertical garden cleaning (soil, dry leaves, dust etc.)

- Corners, curtains & car cleaning would be a bonus

Requirements:

- ONLY corded vacuum (don’t want battery charging hassle)

- Strong suction power

- Reliable brand with good warranty period

- Service centers/customer support easily available in major cities

- Long-lasting and low-maintenance preferred over fancy smart features

Would also appreciate:

- Offline store recommendations (Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, brand stores etc.)

- Brands/models to avoid based on your experience

- Real long-term reviews instead of influencer hype 😅

Currently considering brands like Karcher, Bosch, Philips, Eureka Forbes, Dyson (if any corded), Kent etc. but very confused.

Please share:

  1. Model name

  2. How long you’ve used it

  3. Service experience

  4. Pros/cons

  5. Approx price paid

Thanks!

It's 4am in the morning with no electricity all thanks to on-going construction in the vicinity.

With no regret for this inconvenience such incidents continue without being upheld corrupt politicians and government officials ; why so??? Because we citizens have no nerve to stand for justice and accepted our fate.

Why to pay tax ; when basic infrastructure is poorly constructed. Not a single road , footpath or place in this city well constructed with greenery or managed.

It's been an hour and half sitting here in sweat with no lights , after several complains yet no issue resolved.

If you’re expecting spice or flavor, don’t worry they’ve kept it safely hidden. The taste is so mild it almost feels like a “build your own flavor in your imagination” experience.

And sambar? Apparently that’s optional here. Who needs it anyway, right?

Honestly feels like one of those places that exist purely because Instagram said so. Great for reels, not so great for your taste buds.

In a city like Mumbai, where even street basic food has spice punch , this was surprisingly underwhelming. But hey, if you enjoy eating melted butter with a side of dosa, this might just be your spot.

Though no taste, overall experience in terms of; vibe, ambience, staff and self service was smooth.

PS: I’ve had dosa in Bengaluru, and it was miles better; thin, crispy, and not drowned in ghee.
