In 1982 Tron, the character, called users, had computer world counterpart called programs. Kevin Flynn had Clu, Alan had Tron, Lora had Yori, Walter had Dumont, and Ed Dillenger had Sark.

At the end of the move when MCP is defeated, we see a program, but he looked like a very old man.

Any idea whose user he was based on?

My thinking is this program, which was originally a chess program was programmed by someone else that we never see or hear of, and Ed stole the chess program like he stole Keven's Space Paranoid programs.

Old DRAM can blow out. There are SRAM adapter, but it seems like no one's making them or are shipping to US. Old 64Kx4* DRAM aren't produced and I would have to buy old stock.

I do have a pile of old 256KB 30 pins SIMM. Looking at the pinout (ignoring the parity bits) all but CAS pin are the same. 30 pin SIMM has only one CAS (column address strobe) while C128 uses 2 to select 2 banks of 64KB plus another CAS. Best I could figure is if I used A8 pin tied to CAS0 or 1 from 128 but I don't know if that would work. A9 and A10 on 30 pin SIMM is NC (no connection) with 256K. eh maybe it won't work?

Wondering if it could work or if I would need to figure out CAS0 and CAS1 voodoo on 128D to make it work with a 30 pin SIMM that has only one CAS pin. A0 to A7 would be straight through for 64KB blocks.

*128DCR uses 64Kx4 while older 128 used 64Kx1 DRAM If 30 pin SIMM can be made to work, it can be used on either, you'd need to wire the data pins differently, one to each of the 16 sockets of the old DRAM instead of 4 to each of the sockets.

When my laptop is running normally, sometimes the fan would rev up loud and start blasting hot air. When I use the Task Manager, the fan goes quiet and I don't see anything. But when I close Task Manager, fan goes back loud and my CPU gets hot.

If I turned off wifi or use my laptop where I have no wifi access, the fan goes quiet after a while until I get back on internet.

I've downloaded and run Malwarebyte directly off Malwarebyte site and ran it. It didn't find anything. malwarebyte result

I'd have loud fan noise and hot CPU when nothing, but Windows desktop is up (no browser, no games, no video player, etc) and often it'd start running fast and hot after a fresh restart. This leads me to suspect I have something running that Malwarebytes didn't find and hides itself when I opened task manager.

computer is Asus FA617NS, with 7735HS CPU, 7700S GPU, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, and Windows 11 Home edition. Installed programs are World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, Foxfire browser, VLC for video watching, and Open Office.

Pretty much older movies with ancient Gods like the Greek mythology such as Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts.

Ancient Gods in the background prodding or meddling in human's activities, maybe a bit of magic. Definitely old fantasy theme.

Asus Tuf FA617NT with 7735HS CPU, 7700s GPU, dual 2TB SSD, and Intel wifi card (original one kept failing)

Is there a specific version of replacement USB-c port I need to find or will any generic USB-c port work? The USB charging port somehow got broke and won't hold the charging cable, and no one seems to make a 20v 14A charger that can be used in the cars but there are 100w USB chargers for cars that works with my laptop.

Also why are there 2 USB-c port but only one works for charging? If I plugged in the other c port, nothing happens. It still works with flash drives so it's a data only port, not charge capable.
