Fluid Alternatives

I have a 21 Ranger XP1000 that I'm planning on doing a service on. I've had it since new and have been reluctantly putting the polaris stuff in a few times a year, but now in between jobs, want to go good, but cheaper options.

Oil: I always have T6 on hand for my truck.

Front axle: still have a few changes left in a jug bought from polaris. But don't mind getting something else.

Rear/ Trans: I'm open to options.

The dealer near me isn't always open or have a whole lot in stock majority of the time as well, so trying to source stuff locally and soon-ish isn't always an option for OE. I've been goggling for answers and get a myriad of this and that, but for all sorts of generations and different machines. I appreciate any insight from y'all.

The machine has some hours and over 4k Km on it by now, no major work or issues. A few belts here and there, just regular maintenance for my adventuring and would like to save the cash where I can

Started the gutting process

The previous owner was nice enough to insultate* the rear wall, tomorrow will be insulating the rest and installing 1/2" plywood along the rest and the rear wall will be waiting until Monday when I can get some 4.76mm boarding to accommodate the window that's already there. I left the door intact as I knew I'd be doing some structural work with rivets and re-welding on the corners for the supports. She's very sturdy now and I have no qualms about adding a roof rack to this bad boy in the future!

Bigger tires

Looking at getting some bigger tires for extra ground clearance and keep the torsion system. Trailer weighs about 2200kg(4850lbs) not 100% on tongue weight. Tires size currently on there is 205/75R15, but thinking of getting a truck or SUV tire to put in place of the ST tires. I know ST have a sturdier sidewall and whatnot for tight cornering while backing up and the like. But with the weight not being close to max, has anyone else done this successfully or unsuccessfully?

I'd have to double check to see if I could fit 31's in there, but 235/75R15 would for sure. I'm open to thought and ideas. I've priced out new torsion and spring axles and they are a pretty penny!

Picked up a Morrison Timber Wolf in 357 flavour. Have yet to take it out (will be tomorrow.) I've stripped it down mostly to clean, got some dummy rounds and cycled it quite a bit today, loading is still pretty stiff, but hopefully that goes away after a few hundred rounds. So far I'm hopeful for a nice little bush gun.

The sling is made by Wayne's Dog in China, it looks and feels nicely made, time will tell on both of these budget friendly items. I got the rifle and 500 357 rounds for less than most other levers on the market by themselves.
