8 years after diagnosis, 15 meds later. Life is good

My ocd was quite the annoyance but still manageable for quite a while after I was diagnosed. Suddenly 5 years into it, I was crying every single day after work nonstop until I got tired enough to fall asleep. I dread every single morning waking up. Doctors kept throwing ssris, anxiety meds, antipsychotics, anything they thought could work. Finally a different doctor put me on a tricyclic, something I haven’t tried before.

I thought I was manic with how great I felt. (Both my therapist and doctor had to convince me I wasn’t). That med pooped out within a couple weeks. I switched to another tricyclic, Clomipramine. This is the 16th medication I’ve been on. I have been living a great, nearly ocd-free life ever since. I still take it every day. I hadn’t realized how much ocd took over my life, suddenly I had so much free time without the worrying. Life is so great now.

There is hope!

Favorite tote bags with zipper top?

Hi all Ive been using backpack at work but it just doesn’t seem to be working with my flow anymore. Im looking for a tote bag under $500 that would be a good option for a 14 inch laptop + water bottle+clipboard+ a few notebooks and headphones. Bonus if theres pockets for those things.

Anyone have any totes they love with a zip top? Im the kind of girlie who throws her bag into the passenger seat at the end of the day and has it on dirty floors frequently at work. Wondering if leather spray will protect leather from that kind of work life?

Proper application of Apple protector spray?

Just got my first bags ever over $50. I got multiple alter ego coachtopias and have not worn them yet.

I saw someone on here mentioned to consider apple leather protector spray. Is there a right/wrong way to use this spray with these bags?

Brand new to wearing bags (had to get EpiPens recently) and want to make sure I don’t mess up my expensive (to me) purchases 😭
