About new system for TRC

I have heard that new (MOS) system was introduced in April, is processing time faster now? In Lodz it used to take 7-8 month so if it is still same I would apply earlier.

Also is it possible to apply based on study and till fingerprints if I finish uni (I am in my last semester) change it to work based? What documents would I need for that?

And I heard that if you graduate from Polish universities you will have work permit so company doesn’t need to apply to it for you and you just grab document stating that you are working there and you can apply for TRC on you own, is it true?

Thanks 🙏

Can I still make it?

Hi, I am in my mid 20’s and finishing my bs in cs. Becoming pilot was my childhood dream but unfortunately as I was raised in third world country I did not had info on how to become and also means to study. Now I work as Software Engineer and make enough money to live and save a bit. But I still can’t let go to that dream. I even was thinking on starting Masters on aircraft engineering so somewhat to be close.

My question is would you recommend making career switch and becoming pilot? I can try to save money for trainings and for that + till trainings finish I might become 30+ years old so do you think it is late? Would you recommend becoming commercial/airline pilot (I now it depends a lot on airlines but in general)? Is this profession as romanticized? Are there anythings I should know before going this path?

Pilot training

How to become pilot in Uzbekistan? In past I used to hear some go to Russia to study. I recently heard there is joint program in Tashkent State Transportation University but couldn’t find the info on tuition fee.

How do you perceive non-russian speaking russian with you?

So I am from Central Asia. I have met many Ukrainians in EU and when I speak to them, I talk or start conversation in russian thinking it would be easier for them to understand me (as I have met some who didn't know english well) but they keep switching to English. For me English is not a problem I know it in advanced level but not Ukrainian unfortunately. So of course I switch to English only later to find out that they speak with their Ukrainian friends in russian lol. And you can definitely tell that I am not russian, I have dark tanned skin.

I would understand if they told me that they want to practice their English or they don't want to hear any russian (like I knew one guy from Siberia who told me to speak to him in English because he didn't wanted to hear russian) but then why they keep speaking russian with others?. Now every time I meet new Ukrainian I keep guessing should I speak to them in local language, in English or in russian? (as I don't want to offend them or make uncomfortable). Can you please explain how this thing works? Maybe there is smth I don't know? Do you perceive someone clearly non-russian approaching you in russian as pro-russian? And what is your overall perception on Central Asians?

I have met many Ukrainians with different age from 20-45 and most of them were nice, I got surprised how similar things we have considering different culture we have.
